摘要: A power source apparatus and associated method for protecting an electrical device such as a mobile device from an electric shortage are disclosed. The power source apparatus can be provided within the electrical device to provide power to device components. The power source apparatus can include a power source such as a battery, one or more triggering components, and a disconnection component. The triggering component(s) can be connected to a moisture/fluid detection circuit of the electrical device. Upon receiving an input signal indicative of detected moisture/fluid within the electrical device, the triggering component(s) send a disconnection signal to the disconnection component which may be a solenoid. The disconnection component disconnects the power source from device circuitry of the electrical device. The power source apparatus can also include a reconnection component that can be manually actuated by a user or automatically actuated to reconnect the power source to the device circuitry.

摘要: A method comprises receiving a source code having a data set with a processor, opening the data set and identifying compile stage dependencies and run stage dependencies in the data set, determining whether a compile stage dependency has been identified, determining whether the identified compile stage dependency is accessible responsive to determining that the compile stage dependency has been identified, retrieving the compile stage dependency responsive to determining that the identified compile stage dependency is accessible, and compiling the source code and saving the compiled source code in a memory using the retrieved compile stage dependency responsive to determining that no run stage dependencies have been identified.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and system for enacting various driving profiles based on identifying the age and gender of the user. Initially, identifying information is acquired from a user of a vehicle. An identification program determines whether the driver is known, by comparing the identifying information to a set of stored identifying information. If the driver of the vehicle is known, as the identifying information from the user is similar to stored identifying information, then a specific driver profile associated with the specific driver is activated. If the driver is not known, as the identifying information from the user of the vehicle is not similar to the stored identifying information, then the age and gender of the user of the vehicle is determined. Based on the determined age and gender of the driver of the vehicle, various vehicle setting ranges are enacted.

摘要: Embodiments relate to displaying textual data. Aspects of the embodiments includes receiving a request to display textual data and displaying textual data in a region within a display area. Displaying textual data includes sequentially presenting successive components of the textual data at a fixed position relative to the display area. Aspects of the embodiments also includes monitoring a point of gaze of a user based on biometric information, and based on detecting that the point of gaze is away from the region, automatically stopping the displaying by the processor at a time point corresponding to a current component, and determining a previous component of the textual data displayed at a previous time point. Aspects of the embodiments further include, based on detecting that the point of gaze has returned to the region, commencing by the processor the displaying at the previous component and continuing to display successive components of the textual data.

摘要: A computer-implemented method includes determining, by a first device, a current emotional state of a user of the first device. The current emotional state is based, at least in part, on real-time information corresponding to the user and relates to a textual message from the user. The computer-implemented method further includes determining, by the first device, a set of phonetic data associated with a plurality of vocal samples corresponding to the user. The computer-implemented method further includes dynamically converting, by the first device, the textual message into an audio message. The audio message is converted from the textual message into the audio message based, at least in part, on the current emotional state and a portion of the set of phonetic data that corresponds to the current emotional state. A corresponding computer system and computer program product are also disclosed.

摘要: A computer system with a hypervisor detects the local physical connection of a portable storage device with an operating system image thereon. The computer system installs an instance of the operating system on the hypervisor, and the hypervisor assigns a set of resources to the instance to generate a virtual machine. As further portable storage devices with operating systems thereon are locally, physically connected to the computer system, additional virtual machines are generated, each with a different operating system instance, which may be the same or different from the other operating system instances. The resources of the computer system are assigned and reassigned among the virtual machines as the portable storage devices are connected and disconnected.

摘要: Embodiments include method, systems and computer program products for sound identification. Aspects include receiving, by a processor in a wearable electronic device, an indication of an audio signal. The audio signal is analyzed to determine an audio source and based at least in part on the audio source, non-auditory feedback is provided to a user of the wearable electronic device.

摘要: A wearable computing device identifies a gesture made by the user of the wearable computing device. The wearable computing device sends an offer to a second wearable computing device, where the offer is to follow the user. The wearable computing device receives an indication of acceptance of the offer from the second wearable computing device, where the acceptance of the offer comprises an identified gesture made by the user of the second wearable computing device. The wearable computing device sends information related to at least the current location of the wearable computing device to the second wearable computing device.
