摘要： A gas bag module comprises a gas generator and a rigid housing in which the gas generator is arranged. The housing has at least two gas outflow channels with one port each, the ports adjoining each other and being directed towards the gas generator and separated from each other by a wall. The gas generator has a continuous gas outflow zone with at least two sections, each of the sections of the gas outflow zone being associated with one of the ports. The housing is constructed such that gas emerging from the sections of the gas outflow zone can only flow into the one of the gas outflow channels which is associated with the respective section.

摘要： The invention relates to a gas bag protective device comprising a gas bag made of at least two opposite fabric layers (15, 17), which delimit at least one chamber (25 to 33) able to be filled with gas, the fabric layers (15, 17) consisting of warp- and weft threads (19, 119, 21, 121). The gas bag has, in addition, at least one spacer (43) which is connected with the fabric layers (15, 17) and in the inflated state limits the spacing of the fabric layers (15, 17) from each other. In addition, at least two anchoring points are provided on the gas bag, at which it is to be fastened to the vehicle and between which it is tensioned in the inflated state. The gas bag is characterized in that the spacer is provided on a straight connecting line of anchoring points and brings about a tensioning of the gas bag between the anchoring points. In addition, the spacer (43) is formed by some of the warp- and/or weft threads (119) which, in relation to the inflated state, leave the area formed by their associated fabric layer (15, 17) and extend in the direction toward the opposite fabric layer (17 and 15, respectively) and are connected with warp- and/or weft threads (19, 21) of the opposite fabric layer (17 and 15, respectively).

摘要： A gas bag has several walls of layers of fabric, which delimit the interior of said gas bag, adjacent walls being connected in one piece with each other by interweaving, and an outer periphery along which said walls are connected to each other by interweaving, and several chambers which are separated from each other by the provision of an elongated, interwoven region. The interwoven region provided for separating chambers has opposite ends and terminates at least at one of said ends at a distance from said interwoven outer periphery, in order to delimit at least one overflow channel in the region of said outer periphery of said gas bag. The interwoven region runs out in at least one of a rounding and a drop shape at the end terminating at a distance from the outer periphery.

The accommodation housings (12) are arranged along the side edges of the headliner (10). At the side of the headliner (10), the accommodation housing (12) is connected to a support structure (18) that has support ribs and that is joined to the headliner by means of gluing. On the opposite side, facing the vehicle body, the accommodation housing (12) is covered by a further support structure (20) having numerous support ribs.
