Abstract: A system for virtual commissioning of a building management system includes one or more memory devices configured to store instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to: receive, at a virtual server, product installation data from a building management system controller installed at a building site via a first connection, the product installation data corresponding to a product installation at the building site; receive, commissioning data from the remote commissioning system via a second connection; configure one or more products installed at the building site to be controlled by the virtual building management system on the virtual server; and selectively transfer control of the one or more products installed at the building site from the virtual building management system hosted at on the virtual server to the building management system controller installed at the building site.

Abstract: Systems and methods for guided installation of building equipment are provided. A request for a wiring diagram for wiring a first piece of building equipment to a second piece of building equipment is received from a user device. One or more first wiring configurations associated with the first piece of building equipment and one or more second wiring configurations associated with the second piece of building equipment are identified. Based on the one or more first wiring configurations and the one or more second wiring configurations, an equipment-specific wiring configuration for wiring the first piece of building equipment to the second piece of building equipment is automatically selected. A graphical user interface including a wiring diagram illustrating the equipment-specific wiring configuration is provided to the user device.

Abstract: A portable device includes a communication driver and a controller load circuit. The communication driver is configured to facilitate communication between the portable device and a plurality of controllers on a building network and between the portable device and one or more personal computing devices. Abstract: A building management system (BMS) provides feedback to a user via a user interface to assist the user in configuring the BMS. It can be challenging for new or less experienced users to understand all of the actions they are performing when configuring a BMS. The feedback presented via the user interface includes graphical and textual feedback to alert the user of actions performed when applying tags. The feedback identifies one or more missing requirements associated with the tags. The feedback presented via the user interface also includes textual summaries of control sequences configured using the BMS. The textual summaries include descriptions of control sequences and instructions for properly configuring the building equipment.
