Abstract: A building management system comprising a database storing relationships between a plurality of building objects representing building equipment and building spaces and a configuration tool. It can be challenging for new or less experienced users to understand all of the actions they are performing when configuring a BMS. The feedback presented via the user interface includes graphical and textual feedback to alert the user of actions performed when applying tags. The feedback identifies one or more missing requirements associated with the tags. The feedback presented via the user interface also includes textual summaries of control sequences configured using the BMS. The textual summaries include descriptions of control sequences and instructions for properly configuring the building equipment.
