    摘要: Disclosed is a method for decoding received signals on communication channels between at least one transmit antenna and plural receive antennas in a space-time coded direct sequence (DS)-CDMA communication system. The decoding method includes steps of: adjusting the step-size which is an update unit for the tap weight vector for despreading received signals; updating the tap weight vector using the step-size; and despreading the received signals using the tap weight vector. According to the decoding method, the optimal performance can be achieved because the tap weight vector and the step-size are adaptively updated according to changes of communication environment. Such superior performance is more remarkable as the number of receive antennas and transmit antennas increases.

    摘要: A parallel acquisition system configured using a reference matched filter, thereby obtaining a superior acquisition performance and a high throughput as compared to conventional serial acquisition systems and conventional parallel acquisition systems including no reference matched filter. The parallel acquisition system includes a reference matched filter connected in parallel to a plurality of detection matched filters connected together in parallel. The reference matched filter serves to estimate a dispersion of interference components of reception signals respectively input at the detection matched filters. The parallel acquisition system can be applied to the receiver of a spread spectrum system for a packet radio data communication in a multiple access environment.

    摘要: A time tracking method is provided for channel estimation of a mobile communication receiver and a related channel estimation apparatus is provided. The channel estimation apparatus includes a channel estimation control unit for analyzing and outputting a delay profile of a multipath channel by using a channel estimation value of each multi-tap, a tracking mode control unit for calculating a distance between an earliest tap and a preset margin tap by using the delay profile analysis results, and for generating and outputting a hopping tracking control signal for tracking a position of the earliest tap to a position of the margin tap at a time when the determined distance is greater than a preset hopping threshold value, and a hopping tracking mode execution unit for receiving the hopping tracking control signal and for shifting the position of the earliest tap to the position of the margin tap at a time.
