摘要: A composite membrane structure is disclosed comprising a composite membrane and at least one protective layer disposed adjacent to the composite membrane. The composite membrane comprises a porous polymeric matrix and an ionically conductive solid, noble metal or combination thereof dispersed within the matrix, and preferably, a binder. The binder is preferably an ion exchange polymer. The protective layer comprises binder and ionically conductive solid, hygroscopic fine powder or a combination thereof. Also disclosed is a composite membrane comprising an ionically conductive solid, a binder and support polymer. The membrane is formed by casting a solution of the support polymer, ionically conductive solid and binder to form a film. The film may optionally be combined with a protective layer as described above. The cast composite membrane or the composite membrane structures, may be employed in a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) comprising a composite membrane structure or cast composite membrane, an anode, a cathode, and optional current collectors.

摘要: A process for the delacquering and detinning of a metal substrate is presented comprising the fully electrochemical removal of both an outer polymeric coating and an inner tin coating from a metal substrate. The disclosed method provides a clean metal substrate, and results in wastes which are easily disposed of with minimal cost and minimal environmental impact. In one embodiment, the present invention comprises a one-stage process for removing an outer polymeric coating and an inner tin coating from a metal substrate in a single electrolyte bath through electrolytic removal of both the polymeric and tin layers from the metal substrate. An electrically conductive container having the electrolyte bath therein acts as an anode in the process, and the removed tin is plated out on the cathode. In another embodiment, the present invention comprises a two-stage process for removing an outer polymeric coating and an inner tin coating from a metal substrate. The first stage comprises removal of the polymeric coating in a first electrolyte bath through application of a cathodic current to a first electrically conductive container, e.g. tank, drum, or the like. The polymeric and tin coated metal substrate that is immersed in the first electrolyte bath is cathodically protected provided the coated metal substrate is in contact with the first electrically conductive container. The second stage comprises removal of the tin coating via application of moderate anodic currents to a second electrically conductive container, e.g. tank, drum, or the like. Such current results in the selective removal of tin from the substrate metal. The second electrically conductive container and the tin cans act as an anode in the process, and the removed tin is plated out on the cathode.

摘要: The present invention provides a power generation device for exercise equipment including a fixing seat, a swinging seat and a power generating component. The joint and positioning end of the swinging seat has a hinge connection part to be connected with the fixing seat, and the power generating component is configured on a preset position on the swinging seat. A magnetic lifting component is configured to cause magnetic repelling between the swinging end of the swinging seat and the fixing seat, so that the swinging end of the swinging seat can be elastically lifted. The driven part of the power generating component will constantly maintain tight contact with the flywheel of exercise equipment. The magnetic lifting component can exert a magnetic repulsing function without elastic fatigue and solid abrasion.

摘要: The present invention relates to a gas storage and dispensing system, which comprising a carrier material for a target gas and multiple microtubular elements in contact with such carrier material. Each microtubular element comprises a tubular wall that defines a bore side and a shell side that are sealed from each other, preferably by one or more potting members. The carrier material is either at the bore sides or at the shell sides of the microtubular elements, and it can be either a solid sorbent material for the target gas, or a liquid carrier therefor. Such gas storage and dispensing system is particular useful for hydrogen storage, when the carrier material can be a hydrogen-sorbent that contains hydrogen gas, or liquefied hydrogen, or an organic hydrogen solution, or a metal hydride solution capable of generating hydrogen gas. Such microtubular elements can further be designed as microfibrous fuel cells, while each microfibrous fuel cell comprises a carrier material at its bore side.
