摘要: An adhesive layer is placed in a region outside an outer peripheral edge part of a second catalyst layer, on a second surface of an electrolyte membrane. A support frame is placed via the adhesive layer such that the second catalyst layer and a second gas diffusion layer are placed inside an opening of the support frame. A specific region as a region between the outer peripheral edge part of the second catalyst layer and an inner peripheral edge part of the opening of the support frame is present. A predetermined material is placed inside a recessed portion present on a surface of the adhesive layer inside the specific region, the predetermined material containing at least one of a first substance having an action of decomposing hydrogen peroxide and a second substance having an action of decomposing hydroxyl radicals.

摘要: A redox flow battery may include: a membrane interposed between a first electrode positioned at a first side of the membrane and a second electrode positioned at a second side of the membrane opposite to the first side; a first flow field plate comprising a plurality of positive flow field ribs, each of the plurality of positive flow field ribs contacting the first electrode at first supporting regions on the first side; and the second electrode, including an electrode spacer positioned between the membrane and a second flow field plate, the electrode spacer comprising a plurality of main ribs, each of the plurality of main ribs contacting the second flow field plate at second supporting regions on the second side, each of the second supporting regions aligned opposite to one of the plurality of first supporting regions. As such, a current density distribution at a plating surface may be reduced.

摘要: A gas diffusion layer for proton exchange membrane fuel cell and preparation method thereof are provided. The preparation method is to papermake and dry carbon fiber suspension mainly composed of a fibrous binder, water, a dispersant and carbon fibers with different aspect ratios to obtain a carbon fiber base paper, and then carbonize and graphitize under the protection of nitrogen or inert gas to obtain a gas diffusion layer for proton exchange membrane fuel cell; where the fibrous binder is a composite fiber or a blend fiber composed of a phenolic resin and other resin; where the prepared gas diffusion layer for proton exchange membrane fuel cell has a pore gradient, and the layer with the smallest pore size is an intrinsic microporous layer.

摘要: A hot-rolled austenitic iron/carbon/manganese steel sheet is provided. The strength of which is greater than 900 MPa, the product (strength (in MPa)×elongation at fracture (in %)) of which is greater than 45000 and the chemical composition of which includes, the contents being expressed by weight 0.5%≦C≦0.7%, 17%≦Mn≦24%, Si≦3%, Al≦0.050%, S≦0.030%, P≦0.080% and N≦0.1%. A remainder of the composition includes iron and inevitable impurities resulting from the smelting. A recrystallized fraction of the structure of the steel is greater than 75%, a surface fraction of precipitated carbides of the steel is less than 1.5% and a mean grain size of the steel is less than 18 microns. A reinforcing element is also provided.

摘要: Provided is a carbon-fiber nonwoven cloth with low resistance to gases or liquids passing through, and low resistance in the thickness direction to heat or electricity, which is particularly appropriate for a gas diffusion electrode of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell; the cloth having an air gap with a diameter of at least 20 μm, at least some of the carbon fibers being continuous from one surface to the other surface, and the apparent density being 0.2-1.0 g/cm3, or, having an air gap with a diameter of at least 20 μm and at least some of the carbon fibers being mutually interlaced, and further, at least some of the carbon fibers being oriented toward the thickness direction and the apparent density being 0.2-1.0 g/cm3.

摘要: The present invention relates to a cathode for a metal-air battery, a method for manufacturing the same, and a metal-air battery including the same. The cathode comprises a needle-shaped core including two or more species of metals selected from the group consisting of nickel, cobalt, manganese, zinc, iron, copper, and chrome, or a cobalt oxide; and a flake-shaped shell including an oxide containing two or more species of metals selected from the group consisting of nickel, cobalt, manganese, zinc, iron, copper, and chrome or a cobalt oxide. As such, the core-shell structure may lead to a reduction in the charge voltage of the metal-air battery as well as the taking of the good capacity characteristics of the transition metal oxide. Further, according to the present invention, the cathode for a metal-air battery may be produced without adding carbon or binder.

摘要: A porous carbon sheet contains a carbon fiber and a binding material, wherein layers are obtained in a section spanning from a plane closest to one of the surfaces and having 50% of the mean fluorine intensity to a plane closest to the other surface and having 50% of the mean fluorine intensity by dividing this section evenly into three in an orthogonal direction to the carbon sheet plane; among the layer close to one of the surfaces and the layer close to the other surface, the layer having the larger layer mean fluorine intensity is designated layer X, the layer having the smaller one is designated layer Y, and the layer between the layer X and the layer Y is designated layer Z; and the layer mean fluorine intensities decrease in the order: layer X, layer Y, and layer Z.
