    摘要： A universal access port includes a specific size opening that is formed through a wall of a conditioning enclosure and located at a specific distance from a floor or mounting surface. The opening is preferably rectangular in shape, but other shapes may also be used. When not in use, the universal access port is covered with a sealing panel. Insertable devices may be efficiently inserted and removed from the universal access port. A perimeter of the insertable device is sized to be sealable inserted into the universal access port. Each insertable device preferably seals with an exterior and interior wall of the conditioning enclosure. Some insertable devices include fixturing devices, windows, manual manipulation devices, junction devices, hinged access doors, wire access devices, temperature modifying devices or air circulation devices.

    摘要： A dual resistor for eliminating the requirement for two different value resistors. The dual resistor includes a conditioning resistor at a high resistance value and a run resistor at a low resistance value. The run resistor can travel inside the conditioning resistor. The run resistor is capable of being advanced by a drive assembly until an electrical path is completed through the run resistor thereby shorting out the conditioning resistor and allowing the lower resistance run resistor to take over as the current carrier.

The amount of current to the stylus and thus the stylus temperature may be varied in accordance with recorder chart speed by adjusting the selector switch to connect the desired number of secondary winding turns to the stylus.

    摘要： A transom saver apparatus is adapted to be attached to a boat trailer and includes a pivot assembly adapted to be connected to a first portion of the trailer. An arm assembly is provided having first and second opposed ends wherein one end is connected to the boat trailer connection pivot assembly and the other end terminates in an outboard motor rest or support member. The arm assembly includes a first telescopic arm member, and a second telescopic arm member in telescopic engagement with the first telescopic arm member such that the second telescopic arm member defines the second distal end of the arm assembly and the second distal end comprises the outboard motor rest member. An arm rest bracket assembly is further included attachable to a second portion of the boat trailer for receivingly supporting the pivotal arm assembly in an out-of-the-way orientation when the arm assembly is not pivotally disposed in a use orientation.

    摘要： An efficient, easily-programmed and annoyance-free polling system includes the utilization of multiple voice synthesizers in multiple identical Telephone Interface Units (TIUs) operating independently under control of their own microprocessor, with the TIUs being connected to a bank of telephone lines. A Master Unit with its own voice synthesizer programs the TIUs for simultaneous polling and receipt of polled information. The voice synthesizer in the Master Unit is used for easy message editing and the elimination of "dead time". A personal or other computer is used for initialization, message set up and editing, telephone number generation, and cross-correlation and printing of polling results, with the TIUs working independently for simultaneously polling over many telephone lines. In one embodiment, programming of each individual TIU is accomplished through a specialized coding system unique to polling operations. In one embodiment branching occurs on a non-response or an erroneous answer for improved polling results. Message editing capability and trimming of the outgoing message is provided through the changing of the starting address and ending address of the message.
