摘要： The present invention provides a system for controlling speed of the fuel pump. The system includes a fuel pump, a controller, and a field modification module. The fuel pump is configured to receive a driving signal causing the fuel pump to pump fuel. The controller is configured to determine a desired fuel pump speed and generate a control signal based on the desired fuel pump speed. The field modification module is located proximate the fuel pump and is in communication with the controller to receive the control signal. The field modification module generates a flux in response the control signal thereby controlling speed and torque of the fuel pump.

摘要： A transom saver apparatus is adapted to be attached to a boat trailer and includes a pivot assembly adapted to be connected to a first portion of the trailer. An arm assembly is provided having first and second opposed ends wherein one end is connected to the boat trailer connection pivot assembly and the other end terminates in an outboard motor rest or support member. The arm assembly includes a first telescopic arm member, and a second telescopic arm member in telescopic engagement with the first telescopic arm member such that the second telescopic arm member defines the second distal end of the arm assembly and the second distal end comprises the outboard motor rest member. An arm rest bracket assembly is further included attachable to a second portion of the boat trailer for receivingly supporting the pivotal arm assembly in an out-of-the-way orientation when the arm assembly is not pivotally disposed in a use orientation.

摘要： A self-contained brushless electric-motor fuel pump for internal combustion engine fuel delivery systems and like applications in accordance with the present invention comprises a housing having a fuel inlet and fuel outlet, and a brushless electric motor with a permanent magnet armature mounted for rotation within the housing and stator windings surrounding the armature within the housing. A pump mechanism is positioned between the fuel inlet and outlet, and is coupled to the armature for corotation with the armature within the housing to pump fuel under pressure from the inlet to the outlet. A pressure sensor is operatively coupled to the fuel outlet within the housing for providing an electrical pressure signal as a function of fuel pressure at the outlet. Pump motor control electronics within the housing includes circuitry for comparing the pressure signal from the pressure sensor to a pump drive reference signal, and providing an error signal as a function of a difference therebetween. Drive current is applied to the stator windings of the motor as a function of such error signal.

The field windings are configured to receive a driving signal that generates a magnetic field causing a rotation of the rotor. 摘要： A UV emitter is incorporated into a variety of different illumination devices suitable for illuminating indicia associated with dials on watches, gauges and other instruments, as well as ornaments. The indicia is made of a material responsive to UV emissions to render the indicia visible. The devices may be used in motor vehicles and other devices. In addition, a conductor arrangement is also provided that can be used to support the UV emitter under the transparent cover of watches or gauges, with the UV emitter oriented to direct the UV emissions toward the indicia. Embodiments are presented for UV emitters on top of dials with indicia, laterally from the dials, or even under the dials.

摘要： A truss-fabricating machine comprising a table for supporting a pair of parallel spaced-apart wood chord members, a series of web members spanning the chord members, and connectors having teeth adapted to be pressed into the wood chord members. The machine further comprises apparatus on the top of the table for clamping the chord members in fixed position with respect to the table, including a pair of outside jaws engageable with the outside faces of the chord members, and expansible tubing extending longitudinally of the table for effecting movement of the outside jaws relative to one another transversely of the table to clamp the chord members in fixed position with respect to the table. A press is movable longitudinally with respect to the table for pressing the teeth of the connectors into the chord members when the chord members are clamped in fixed position.

The agent is particularly useful in a variety of aqueous based fluids of the type used in treating subterranean formations, including fluids containing other cationic additives such as certain acid inhibitors and clay stabilization agents which tend to impair the effectiveness of prior art agents.
