摘要: A high-voltage insulator contains, in a coaxial arrangement: an insulating tube with an end in the form of a bearing ring, a hollow metal armature held on the bearing ring, an adhesive-bonding joint, which is provided between an adhesive-bonding area of the bearing ring and an adhesive-bonding area of the metal armature and is filled in a vacuum-tight manner with a cured adhesive layer, and a cavity, which is extended along the axis of the insulating tube and is radially delimited by the insulating tube and the metal armature. At least one predominantly radially guided adhesive channel is arranged between the cavity and the adhesive-bonding joint, which adhesive channel is sealed with cured adhesive and has a cross section which is sufficient for guiding uncured adhesive from the cavity into the adhesive-bonding joint prior to the formation of the cured adhesive layer.

摘要: A high-voltage insulator includes a metal armature, an insulating tube joined to the metal armature, which is adhesively bonded to the metal armature at an end formed as a supporting ring, and an axially symmetrical adhesive-bonding joint disposed around the axis of the insulating tube. An annular grove, which is formed in the metal armature, is disposed around the axis of the insulating tube and receives an end portion of the supporting ring. Sealing surfaces are respectively formed in the groove and in the supporting ring. The sealing surfaces are arranged and formed in such a way that, when the insulating tube and the metal armature are joined, they slide on one another, thereby forming a seal, and the supporting ring acting as a displacement body presses adhesive that has been introduced into the groove before the joining into the adhesive-bonding joint.

摘要: An insulating part (20) is provided for a high voltage switch of a metal-enclosed circuit-breaker system and is executed as a pressure-gelated casting on the base of a polymeric composite material. It comprises a base-plate (21) with a centrally arranged large through-hole (23) for receiving a current terminal lead of the high voltage switch and with small through-holes (24, 25) for receiving fastening screws. The insulating part further comprises two bearing blocks (22) for receiving a shaft of a movable contact of a contact arrangement of the switch and at least a first collar (26) which surrounds the large through-hole (23).For reason of the execution as a pressure-gelated casting the insulating part (20) can be manufactured easily with low costs but with high precision. In general a finish-maching of the casting is not required. The integration of the large through-hole (23) and of the small through-holes (24, 25) as well as of the two bearing blocks (22) and the first collar (26) into the insulating part (20) during pressure gelation of the polymeric composite material result in a complex design which fulfills all required mechanical, electrical and thermal functions during operation of the system.

摘要: This hybrid circuit breaker has at least two series-connected arcing chambers which are operated by a common drive or by separate drives and are filled with different arc extinguishing media. Means are provided which ensure a sensible voltage distribution between the first and the second arcing chamber in the course of a switching process. At least one vacuum switching chamber having an insulating housing, is provided as the second arcing chamber. The aim is to provide a hybrid circuit breaker wich can be produced economically and which has high availability. This is achieved, inter alia, in that means are provided which ensure that the movement of the contacting arrangement of the first arcing chamber precedes the movement of the contact arrangement of the second arcing chamber during a disconnection process, and that the movement of the contacting arrangement of the second arcing chamber precedes the movement of the contact arrangement of the first arcing chamber during a connection process. The second arcing chamber is permanently bridged by a non-reactive resistor, which is in the form of a resistance coating applied to the inner wall or the outer wall of the insulating housing of the second arcing chamber.

摘要: An electrical insulator including a thermosetting matrix and a filler composed primarily of powdered material embedded in the thermosetting matrix. The insulator has a high service life in spite of severe mechanical stressing at temperatures of up to 105.degree. C. This is achieved as a result of the thermosetting matrix having a glass transition temperature exceeding 140.degree. C. and the inclusion of a powdered filler, which has a reduced rigidity compared with the thermosetting matrix, embedded in the thermosetting matrix.
