    摘要: Microfluidic nucleic acid hybridization systems are described that include a first reaction chamber to hold an analyte solution comprising nucleic acids, and a first mixing channel in fluid communication with the chamber. The mixing channel includes a textured surface to mix the analyte solution. The systems may also include pump coupled to the mixing channel to circulate the analyte solution through the reaction chamber and the mixing channel, and an input port in fluid communication with the mixing channel and the reaction chamber to supply the analyte solution to the microfluidic system. The input port can be closed to create a closed circulation path for the analyte solution through the reaction chamber and the mixing channel.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention are related to circuits and methods for generating a reference current (Idc). In an embodiment, a voltage-to-current converter circuit is used to generate the reference current (Idc) in dependence on a reference voltage (Vref) and a precision resistor (R0), wherein Idc=Vref/R0. A capacitor (C0) is used to shunt noise that couples into the voltage-to-current converter. A frequency dependent feedback network is used to compensate for instabilities introduced by the capacitor (C0). The capacitor (C0) can be used to shunt noise that couples into the voltage-to-current converter by connecting the capacitor (C0) in parallel with the precision resistor (R0). The frequency dependent feedback network can be used to compensate for instabilities introduced by the capacitor (C0) by connecting the frequency dependent feedback network between a feedback terminal of an amplifier of the voltage-to-current converter circuit and a terminal of the capacitor (C0).

Highlighted content may be presented to the users with varying levels of prominence. Accordingly, depending on the aggregated highlight information, some content may be presented with a highlight that is more or less prominent than highlighting for other content. Prominence data associated with highlighted content may include a score indicative of a strength of the highlight for the highlighted content. A score indicating a stronger highlight causes the highlight to be presented with greater prominence. The score may be incremented, possibly on a weighted bases, to represent the combined highlighting of different users. Highlights may assume many different forms, including visual forms (such as colors, lines, borders, fonts, icons, etc.), audio forms and tactile forms.

    摘要: In order to address the problem of allowing a GGSN 16 of a UMTS core network to work towards multiple Policy Control Functions (PCFs) 17 co-located with P-CSCF nodes 18 using the COPS protocol, a policy control function coordinator (PCF-C) 15 is implemented between the GGSN 16 and the P-CSCF 18. A single COPS connection is established between the GGSN 16 and the PCF-C 15, whilst a COPS connection is established between the PCF-C 15 and each of the P-CSCF nodes 18. Decisions made at the PCFs 17 are routed to the GGSN 16 via the PCF-C 17, and responses generated at the GGSN 16 are routed to the appropriate PCFs 17 via the GGSN 17. This architecture avoids conflicts which might otherwise arise with the COPS protocol.
