    摘要: The present invention provides a graft copolymer of a syndiotactic styrene/para-alkylstyrene copolymer, having the formula of wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, and primary and secondary haloalkyl; X is a functional group selected from a group containing halogen, oxygen, sulfur, silicon, nitrogen, carbon, phosphorus, and mixtures thereof; Y is an atactic polymer moiety; a ranges from 10 to 30000; b ranges from 0 to 30000; c ranges from 0 to 30000; and d ranges from 1 to 30000. The compatibility of the graft copolymer of syndiotactic styrene/para-alkylstyrene copolymer of the present invention with other polymers is improved over a syndiotactic styrene polymer. Also, the graft copolymer of the present invention can serve as a compatibilizer for a polymer blend.

    摘要: An antiglare film applicable to polarizers or displays includes a light-transparent resin, first light-transparent particles dispersed on surface of the light-transparent resin and second light-transparent particles dispersed inside the resin. The first light-transparent particles have a same refractive index as that of the resin and particle diameters of 9 to 500 nanometers that provide a less roughness surface of the resin in order to prevent from large angle diffusion to the interior light and improve clarity of image. The second particles have a different refractive index from the resin so as to diffuse the exterior light that comes to the antiglare film so as to decrease glare. The antiglare film can be made by one time of coating. The two layer light-transparent particles provide light interference and achieve a low reflectivity.

    摘要: A liquid crystal structure for compensating for the retardation of STN LCD is described. The liquid crystal structure has at least a first polarizer, a first liquid crystal compensation film, a main liquid crystal layer, a second liquid crystal compensation film, and a second polarizer. A main retardation is introduced when the light passes through the main liquid crystal layer. When the light passes through the first liquid crystal compensation film and the second liquid crystal compensation film, a first compensation retardation and a second compensation retardation are obtained, respectively, to compensate for the main retardation, so that a biaxial compensation is achieved. The material of the first liquid crystal compensation film and the second liquid crystal compensation film is nematic liquid crystal.
