摘要： The invention relates to a wheeled trailer support device for use with a slip-in camper which is engaged to the box of a pickup truck. The invention enables an individual to use a slip-in camper of extended length with a standard sized box of a pickup truck. The invention includes a platform having an engagement face which slides along a friction plate which is mounted to the underside of the slip-in camper. The towing arm of the invention permits the trailer to track a curved road while simultaneously supporting the extended length of the slip-in camper. Separation of the wheeled trailer support device from the underside of slip-in camper is thereby eliminated. Wear upon a trailer and/or trailer tires is simultaneously minimized.

摘要： A can and bottle crusher and separator with stationary and oscillating tooth jaw plates confronting each other and converging with each other in a downward direction and dropping crushed glass and metal containers into the discharge chute. A glass discharging port in the bottom of the discharge chute directs glass particles directly into a collecting barrel. A gate is provided to alternately close the chute or to close the glass discharge port. The chute has a separating wheel at its bottom end to initially stop and then propel aluminum cans over the top of it. The wheel has magnetic belts to carry steel containers around with the wheel until they are stripped off and dropped into an appropriate barrel.

摘要： A fishing sinker that reduces loss of the sinker and other tackle due to being snagged. The sinker includes an elastic portion extending between a first weighted end and a second weighted end. The elastic portion allows the sinker to extend in length when a force is applied thereto, and return to essentially its original length when the force is removed. When a force is applied to the fishing line, the fisherman is able to determine by feel whether the sinker is lodged in a snare or if a fish is on the hook. If the sinker is snagged, when the fisherman applies force to set the hook, the sinker stretches, which the fisherman can feel and thus realize that there is no fish but that the sinker is snagged. When the force is released, the elastic portion snaps back, often resulting in a sling-shot effect dislodging the sinker.

摘要： A machine for sealing polyethylene bags or the like of the type having conveyer bands for gripping and transporting the bags to be sealed at a constant velocity from the machine's inlet end, through a heating station, then through a cooling station to the machine's outlet end. The conveyer bands are formed from a material having good release (non-stick) characteristics with respect to the fused thermoplastic. Disposed at the heating and cooling stations, respectively, are heating and chilling bars (heat transfer bars), each being disposed in pairs on opposite sides on and in proximity to the conveyer bands. Means are provided for cyclically opening and closing both pairs of bars relative to the conveyer bands and for translating the bars longitudinally in reciprocating fashion with respect to the moving bands. As bags to be sealed are carried along by the conveyor bands, the heat transfer bars pinch closed on the traveling bands, but since the bars at this time are being translated in the same direction of travel (forward stroke) and at the same velocity as the bands, no band wear occurs. Toward the end of this forward stroke, the heat transfer bars open relative to the bands and the return stroke occurs with substantially zero force between the moving bands and the heat transfer bars. During the return stroke, the bars act as a preheat device to warm up the film prior to the forward stroke to obtain greater speed. Because the bars are of a predetermined greater length than the length of the reciprocating stroke, a continuous package seal is ensured.
