    摘要: A mobile terminal executes a navigation function by receiving Transport Protocol Experts Group (TPEG) traffic information through a Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) network. This DMB-based mobile terminal receives and decodes TPEG data at a separate second processor different from a conventional first processor. Further, the DMB-based mobile terminal may execute a calculation of an optimum route at the second processor. The terminal and a related method reduce the processing load of the first processor, which causes a decrease in the response time to a user's navigation request and improves a user's convenience.

    摘要: A method of providing a PoC service service in a mobile communication system is disclosed, by which a user's sensory duration can be reduced in case of switching a status of a traffic channel between a user equipment and a mobile communication network to an active mode from a dormant mode in the mobile communication system such as a CDMA network. The present invention includes a first step of transmitting the PoC service data from a first user equipment in the dormant mode via a short data burst, a second step of allowing the user equipment to enter an active mode via a traffic channel connection after completion of the first step, a third step of transmitting a reception acknowledgement signal (ACK) from a second user equipment having received the PoC service data via the short data burst, and a fourth step of receiving the reception acknowledgement signal (ACK) via a traffic channel.

    摘要: A digital television receiving system includes a frame encoder, a data randomizing and expanding unit, a group formatter, a block processor, a deinterleaver, and a multiplexer. The frame encoder encodes an enhanced data frame for error correction. The data randomizing and expanding unit randomizes the encoded enhanced data and expands the randomized enhanced data. The group formatter forms a group of enhanced data having head, body, and tail regions and inserts the expanded data and transmission parameters into the body region. The block processor codes the group of enhanced data, and the deinterleaver deinterleaves the coded enhanced data. The packet formatter formats the deinterleaved enhanced data into enhanced data packets.
