摘要: The process and device for setting optimal piecing parameters in the spinning machine when changing batches includes entering and storing in a memory of a central machine computer spinning machine data relevant to the piecing operation. At the start of the piecing operation, the machine data is transmitted from the central machine computer to a microcomputer of a piecing device. The microcomputer contains a piecing program and a database of piecing parameters pertaining to the piecing process. An optimal set of piecing parameters is computed with the piecing program in the microcomputer. The microcomputer incorporates the spinning machine data and computes from the database an optimal basic set of piecing parameters. The optimal set of piecing parameters is displayed at an optical display unit associated with the microcomputer and can be manually adjusted.

摘要: The dust separator comprises a rotating centrifugal separator (10) having within a stationary housing paddle wheels (5) equipped with radially extending paddles (12) approximately located in axial planes. With these paddles (12) there are co-rotating walls (9) extending in circumferential direction and adjoining the paddles (12). Blowers (6,7 and 8) force the dust-loaden air through the centrifugal separator and spraying or atomizing means (1) are provided which are arranged as seen in flow direction upstream of the centrifugal separator. The walls (9) extending in circumferential direction have a diameter step-wisely decreasing in flow direction, noting that at the base of each stage there is provided at least one slotted passage (15) extending in circumferential direction.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for the retanning (afterchroming) of chrome leathers. It has been found very high chromium exhaustion of the liquor can be achieved if the leather is retanned with mixtures of,(a) chromium (III) salts,(b) from 1.0 to 2.5 mol (per mole of Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3 of the used chromium(III) salt) of aliphatic dicarboxylic acids having from 4 to 6 carbon atoms or aromatic dicarboxylic acids having from 8 to 12 carbon atoms and/or the salts thereof,(c) such a quantity of basifying agents, that a theoretical basicity of the used chromium(III) salt of from 80 to about 120% is established, and(d) from 150-250 g (per mol of Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3 of the used chromium(III) salt) of one or more synthetic tanning agents (syntans).

摘要: The invention relates to a hand-held analytical device for analyzing a sample, in particular a biological fluid, for a medically significant component, comprising a housing comprising a loading opening for receiving a replaceable cartridge having multiple chambers that may contain analytical consumables, in particular test strips, and each chamber comprising an opening on at least one face of the cartridge and each opening may be sealed by a sealing foil, a removal facility for removing one of the analytical consumables from the cartridge. The removal facility can be used to remove one of the consumables from one of the chambers of the cartridge, in the process of which the opening sealed by the sealing foil is opened. A drive allows the cartridge to be moved in order to position one chamber in a removal position in which a consumable can be removed from the chamber by the removal facility. The invention provides for the hand-held analytical device to comprise a testing facility that can generate a signal containing information regarding whether the opening of one of the chambers is sealed by sealing foil.

摘要: A position measuring device having a sensor, the output signal Sd of which is a function of the distance between a graduation and a scanning unit. To render the distance-dependent signal independent of temperature changes, the sensor consists of a potentiometer circuit with an active branch and a complementary branch. Magneto-resistive elements which scan the graduation are disposed in the active branch. Resistive elements are disposed in the complementary branch which have the same temperature behavior as the magneto-resistive elements of the active branch, but are substantially insensitive to magnetic fields. The voltage across the active branch is taken as the distance-dependent measuring signal Sd and is used to control the amplitude of the position-dependent scanning signals generated by scanning the graduation.

摘要: A process and device for forming the winding core of a stator or rotor. The winding core is only partially exposed to shaping pressure. Shaping is then continued progressively over the core periphery. A device for effecting the method includes a single or multipartite pressing tool for the winding core. The tool is rotatable relative to the long axis of a stator or rotor. In a preferred embodiment, the tool has a narrow shaping part positioned adjacent to a wrapping tool used to provide a wrapping about the shaped coil.

摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus and a method of contact-free, almost continuous measurement and monitoring of the width, thickness and position of magnetic tracks on moving film strips within wide limits of the speed. The track width and track position of the magnetic tracks are measured optically and the magnetically acting track cross section is measured electromagnetically via the track volume. The measured values are together recorded, evaluated and displayed and/or used for recontrolling the casting arrangement for emitting warning signals or for stopping the coating machine.
