    摘要： A modular power distribution system comprises a chassis; and a backplane including a power input, and a plurality of module connection locations. A plurality of modules are mounted in the chassis, each module mounted to one of the module connection locations. Each module includes: (i) an OR-ing diode; (ii) a circuit protection device; (iii) a microprocessor controlling the circuit protection device; and (iv) a power output connection location. A circuit option switch is located on each module for setting the current limits for each module. A control module is provided connected to the backplane.

    摘要： An alarm circuit and method of monitoring a circuit protection device are disclosed. The alarm circuit includes a circuit protection device connected in series at an input voltage of a load. The alarm circuit also includes a programmable circuit connected in parallel to the circuit protection device and including an alarm signal. The programmable circuit is programmed to include a plurality of functional states, and at least one functional state corresponds to activation of the alarm signal. The at least one functional state activating the alarm signal corresponds with an interruption condition in the circuit protection device.

    摘要： A media converter for conversion between electrical signals and fiber optical signals includes an optical signal receiver circuit with a converter to change the optical signal into an analog electrical signal, a quantizer for converting the analog electrical signal into digital format, and an encoder for converting the signals from the quantizer into coding for wire transmission. A transformer isolates the receiver circuit from the media interface which is coupled to wire and optical cables. An optical signal transmission circuit includes a receiver for receiving the signals from metallic cable, a transformer for isolation of the transmission circuit, a decoder for converting the wire cable signals into a format for operation of an LED driver, an LED driver, an LED for producing digital light pulses, and an optical fiber interface for receiving the light pulses. The wavelength is preferably about 850 nanometers, but may also be about 1300 nanometers.
