    摘要: Disclosed are an imaging device and a display device which both have a simple structure without any need of an image conversion. The imaging device includes a lens component group including multiple lens component systems, each of which focuses incident light from the object, thereby creating a non-inverted image of the object, the lens component systems being arranged in an array form and on the same level, and an image capturing mechanism for picking up the created image. In addition, each of the lens component systems includes an afocal optical system and an image-forming system. The afocal optical system includes at least one optical element for inverting an externally incident light ray relative to its optical axis and outputting the light ray. The optical element has uniform refractive index. The image-forming system includes at least one optical element having uniform refractive index throughout its interior.

    摘要: An autostereoscopic image apparatus for picking-up an autostereoscopic image and optically transmitting and displaying the autostereoscopic image. The autostereoscopic image apparatus is constructed by an assembly of a plurality of optical fibers each having an equal length and a lens function. The length of each of a plurality of optical fibers is equal to a length that is integer times as long as one period of an optical path in the optical fiber. The first edge surface of each of a plurality of optical fibers is located on the same plane and forms the first edge surface of the optical fiber assembly. The second edge surface of each of a plurality of optical fibers is located on the same plane and forms the second edge surface of the optical fiber assembly. An arrangement at the first edge surface of the optical fiber assembly at the edge surfaces of a plurality of optical fibers and an arrangement at the second edge surface are equal. An object is picked-up on the first edge surface side of the optical fiber assembly. The picked-up image is transmitted to the second edge surface of the optical fiber assembly and is displayed on the second edge surface side of the optical fiber assembly.

    摘要: A direct memory access control (DMAC) system, in a data processing system, includes at least a central processing unit and a memory, the memory being capable of storing and providing data in any one of several predetermined formats. A plurality of input/output control ports, each connecting a respective input/output device to a common data bus, control data transfer in either direction between the device and the memory. A direct memory access control unit is connected to the common data bus for receiving an access request signal from any of the plurality of input/output control ports, and is connected to the memory for providing thereto, in response to the access request signal, instructions at least as to the size and desired format of the data transfer. A bus switching unit connects the common data bus to the memory, and is connected to the direct memory access control unit for receiving the instructions. The bus switching unit is responsive to the direct memory access control unit for interfacing the memory to the common data bus in such a manner as to cause the data transfer to be of the desired format.

    摘要: To provide an optical assembly capable of enhancing black level display while preventing deterioration of a WV film, and a projector assembled therewith, optical compensation elements are disposed before and after liquid crystal light valves, so that an unintended phase difference generated on the incident and emission sides of the liquid crystal light valves for individual colors is eliminated by adjusting the rotational positions of the optical compensation elements, thus enabling an enhancement in the contrast of a color image displayed on a transmission screen member. In case of B light including ultraviolet light in part, the optical compensation element is disposed at the subsequent stage of the liquid crystal light valve, so that as compared with when the optical compensation element is disposed at the preceding stage of the liquid crystal light valve, the optical compensation element can be reduced or prevented from deteriorating with age, thus enabling the contrast of image display to be maintained over a long period of time.
