    摘要: A cooling water circulating structure for engines is formed by providing therein a thermostat housing 10 which holds therein a thermostat 9 which opens and closes a passage R for a radiator 5 in accordance with a cooling water temperature, and the thermostat housing further has three flanges F1, F2, F3, i.e. a first flange F1 to be joined to an engine body, a second flange F2 to which an oil filter is fixed, and a third flange F3 to which an oil cooler 7 is fixed. The three flanges F1, F2, F3 are arranged so that the surfaces thereof are on mutually different planes, whereby it is rendered possible to reduce the number of passages and pipes for the cooling water and miniaturize an engine.

    摘要: A turbocharger system for ensuring a sufficient exhaust gas recirculation (“EGR”) amount in all operating conditions, and reducing NOx emission from an engine. The system includes an EGR controller that re-circulates a part of exhaust gas discharged from the engine to an intake side. The turbocharger is a power-assisted turbocharger including an electric motor that assists a drive force of a compressor. The EGR controller controls an amount of exhaust gas recirculated to the intake side so as to inhibit the generation of NOx regardless of an amount of oxygen necessary for combustion of the engine. An electric motor control unit drives the electric motor, by the control of the EGR controller, when the amount of oxygen necessary for the combustion of the engine is deficient.

    摘要: In order to suppress axial vibration in a crank system, prevent knocking sound, and reduce vibration noise, a flywheel (1) which is mounted onto the crankshaft of an engine (E) is made into a spoked form having an uneven number of spokes (5). This prevents the symmetrical bending that occurs with an even number of spokes, and divides the vibration mode in the peripheral direction. It is preferable that the number of spokes be seven. The flywheel (1) is mounted such that, when the pistons of predetermined cylinders #5 and #6 are at top dead center at the start of the expansion stroke, one of the spokes (5a) is positioned on the opposing side to these predetermined cylinders, which border the center of the crank (C).
