摘要: An electrostatic recorder includes first drive pulse generators each for generating high voltage pulses in response to recording signals and second drive pulse generators so driven in turn as to generate high voltage pulses in response to outputs from a ring counter. Outputs from said first drive pulse generators are respectively supplied to recording electrodes via diodes, and outputs from said second drive pulse generators are respectively supplied to the corresponding electrode groups of said recording electrodes via respective resistors connected to the recording electrodes of the electrode groups in a manner corresponding thereto.

摘要: In a thermal transfer recording method for use in a recording apparatus using a roll of recording paper of an ordinary paper material wound about a core and a strip of ink ribbon would about an ink ribbon feeding roll, recording is effected by means of a thermal head while both the recording paper and the ink ribbon are transported forwardly in the superimposed state. During transportation of the recording paper and the ink ribbon after the recording, they are parted away one from the other and only the recording paper is transported to an automatic cutter by means of which a part of the recording paper on which recording has been effected is cut off. After completion of cutting operation an unused parts of the recording paper and the ink ribbon are transported backwardly to the position where the leading end of the thus returned recording paper is located in the proximity of the thermal head.

摘要: A paper circulating assembly is provided for use in a field sequential printing apparatus such as a facsimile. The facsimile includes an ink ribbon having multiple color ink segments. A piece of paper is conveyed ultimately into a printing paper path and to the ribbon and printing platen for printing. The printing platen conveys the leading edge of the printed paper to a gripping arm of the paper circulating assembly. After a predetermined time period, the leading edge of the paper rests in the gap created between the gripping arm and the gripping platen, and the gripping arm closes against the gripping platen. Thereafter, the secured leading edge is conveyed to a recirculating paper path which flows into the printing paper path, and stays in this position until the trailing edge of the printing paper is just about to enter the printing paper path. During this time, the portion of the paper which lies between the gripping arm and the printing platen gathers in a loop in a paper loop area. Afterwards, the gripping platen is rotated and the gripping arm moves away from the surface of the gripping platen, thereby releasing the leading edge of the printing paper. Further rotation conveys the leading edge of the paper into the printing paper path, just behind the trailing edge of the printing paper for printing the subsequent color of ink. This process continues until all ink colors have been printed onto the paper.

摘要: A pressure fixing device for a recording medium comprises a pair of frames, a first roll rotatably supported by the frames, two pair of guide members attached individually to the frames to be movable at right angles to the axis of the first roll, second and third rolls disposed along the first roll so that both ends of the rolls are supported individually by the guide members for rotation, the recording medium being passed between the first and second rolls, and a mechanism for urging the second roll toward the first roll. The mechanism including a pair of compression coil springs extending along the axes of the rolls to apply an urging force in its extending direction, a pair of pressure levers rockable around an axis normal to the axes of the rolls and the moving direction of the guide members, the pressure levers receiving the urging force of the coil springs to urge the second roll toward the first roll. The urging force of the compression coil springs is controlled to adjust the pressure between the first and second rolls through the pressure lever and third roll.

摘要: In a thermal transfer recording method of the type using a strip of repeatedly usable ink ribbon wound about an ink ribbon feeding roll, recording is effected by means of a line scanning type thermal head while recording paper and ink ribbon are transported forwardly in the superimposed state. At every time when recording has been achieved both the recording paper and the ink ribbon are released from the clamped state which is caused by means of a combination of platen roller and thermal head and thereafter the ink ribbon is transported backwardly by a distance shorter than the length of a single page. A short part of the ink ribbon transported backwardly on which recording has been effected is put in use again for next recording operation.
