    Abstract: The cluster block accommodates connection terminals and has conductive member insertion holes, into which the conductive members are inserted. The cluster block is disposed between the bottom wall of the housing and second coil ends. The conductive member insertion holes are located on the radially outer side of the inner circumferential surface of the stator core. The cluster block includes a second wall portion in the vicinity of the electric motor and a first wall in the vicinity of the bottom wall of the housing. The second wall portion has a pressed surface on the radially inner side of the inner circumferential surface of the stator core. The outer surface of the first wall portion has a contact surface that is lined up with the pressed surface in the axial direction of the stator core. The contact surface is allowed to contact the bottom wall of the housing.

    Abstract: A motor-driven fluid machine has three motor wires. The innermost one of the three motor wires in the radial direction of a rotary shaft on a specific section of an outer end portion of a coil end is defined as a first motor wire. The first motor wire has a first extension, which extends from an inner side toward an outer side in the radial direction of the rotary shaft at a position between the specific section and a downstream side in the extending direction of the motor wires, and a second extension, which is continuous from the first extension and extends from the outer side toward the inner side in the radial direction of the rotary shaft to be connected to a corresponding conductive member.

    Abstract: A motor-driven compressor includes a cluster block, which accommodates a connecting terminal. The connecting terminal connects an electric motor to a motor driving circuit. A second insulator includes a tubular base, extended portions, which extend from the base, and insulator flanges. Each insulator flange is located on an opposite end of each extended portion from the base. The cluster block is fastened to some of the insulator flanges on the opposite side of the insulator flanges from the extended portions. The cluster block includes a second wall, which faces some of the insulator flanges. The second wall includes engagement pieces, which project in the radial direction of the rotary shaft. The engagement pieces are each fitted to an opening portion, which is a gap between the insulator flanges that are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of the rotary shaft.

    Abstract: A stator of a rotating electric machine includes: a stator core including a yoke; an insulator having a plurality of insulator extension portions and a plurality of insulator inner walls each extending from the corresponding insulator extension portion; and a cover. The cover has an insertion plate extending in an axial direction of the yoke. The insulator inner walls adjacent to each other cooperate to have a pair of space-forming walls. One of the pair of space-forming walls is spaced from the other of the pair of space-forming walls in a circumferential direction of the yoke, and cooperates with the other of the pair of space-forming walls to define an insertion space into which the insertion plate is inserted. The insertion plate is configured to come into contact with the pair of space-forming walls with the insertion plate inserted into the insertion space.

    Abstract: An electric compressor includes a rotary shaft, a compression part, a motor including a stator, and a housing. The stator includes a stator core, coils corresponding to a plurality of phases, an insulator, coil ends, first leads of the winding wires, a neutral connection portion, and a cover member. The cover member has a cover end surface opposite from the coil ends. The cover end surface has an accommodation portion in which the neutral connection portion is accommodated. The first leads each include a covered portion, and a non-covered portion. The non-covered portion includes an extension portion continuous with the neutral connection portion extending out from the accommodation portion by a predetermined length. The cover end surface includes a first surface, and a second surface. At least the first surface has a through hole. The first surface is positioned farther from the coil ends than the second surface is.

    Abstract: An electric compressor includes a housing, an electric motor, and an inverter. The housing includes a motor chamber. The electric motor includes a stator that includes a stator core, a plurality of first coils, a plurality of second coils, and a plurality of third coils. The first coils are connected in series, the second coils are connected in series, and the third coils are connected in series. One of the first coils that is located electrically closest to the first phase is referred to as a first specific coil, one of the second coils that is located electrically closest to the second phase is referred to as a second specific coil, and one of the third coils that is located electrically closest to the third phase is referred to as a third specific coil. The first to third specific coils are disposed above the shaft center of the drive shaft.
