A control system for the work vehicle includes a display, an input device, and a controller. The controller displays a current position of a work vehicle on a screen of a display. The controller receives a first input signal indicating an input operation by an operator from a input device. The controller determines, as a first position, the position of the work vehicle when the first input signal is received. The controller displays the first position on the screen of the display. The controller receives a second input signal indicating an input operation by an operator from the input device. The controller determines, as the second position, the position of the work vehicle when the second input signal is received. The controller determines a target design surface indicating a target trajectory of a work implement based on reference position information including at least the first position and the second position.

A work vehicle includes a work implement. A control system for the work vehicle includes a controller. The controller obtains first topographical data indicative of a topography of a work target before filling work. The controller obtains blade tip position data indicative of a blade tip position of the work implement during the filling work. The controller obtains second topographical data indicative of a compacted topography after the filling work. The controller determines a compression rate of the work target from the first topographical data, the blade tip position data, and the second topographical data.

A control device controls a hydrostatic transmission vehicle having a hydrostatic transmission including a variable displacement pump and a variable displacement hydraulic motor. The control device is configured to set a set vehicle speed based on a forward/rearward travel command and a gear stage command instructed by an operator, to set a torque limit usable for the hydrostatic transmission based on an engine speed, to set a vehicle speed limit based on a pressure in the hydraulic circuit and the torque limit, to select a lower one of the set vehicle speed and the vehicle speed limit, and to control respective displacements of the variable displacement pump and the variable displacement hydraulic motor based on the selected vehicle speed.

The lift stroke sensors are configured to detect stroke amounts from the pair of first hydraulic cylinders, respectively. The control unit is configured to start actuating the pair of second hydraulic cylinders when the stroke amounts of the pair of first hydraulic cylinders match.
