摘要: A method is provided to manufacture an elevator including an elevator car and a movable supporting platform. The movable supporting platform is in the elevator hoistway and the elevator car is in the elevator hoistway to transport passengers and/or freight between floors. The elevator car is removed from use, after which a lifting phase is performed, in which the supporting platform above the elevator car is lifted higher up in the elevator hoistway, after which the elevator car is again taken into use to move in the elevator hoistway and to transport passengers and/or freight between floors. Guide rails are installed to extend to above the supporting platform. Guide rail safety gears are arranged during the lift to allow movement of the supporting platform upwards and to grip the guide rails as a consequence of downward movement of the supporting platform.

摘要: An elevator includes at least one elevator car and a counterweight which are at least partly suspended on hoisting ropes and a drive machine driving a traction sheave engaging the hoisting ropes for moving the elevator car along guide rails in an elevator shaft, which elevator further includes a compensation rope. The compensation rope is led upwards to an upper part of the elevator shaft and from there aside to a balancing area located aside of the travel paths of the car and counterweight. This solution is particularly adapted for high travel elevators facing horizontal forces during operation as e.g. ship elevators. Collision of compensation ropes are avoided in the area below the car and counterweight paths which could affect the elevator safety when subjected to high horizontal forces, e.g. during rough sea.

摘要: The invention relates to an elevator comprising an electric linear motor comprising at least one linear stator designed to be located in a fixed correlation to an environment, particularly building, and at least one mover designed for connection with an elevator car to be moved and co-acting with the stator to move the car, which motor comprises a stator beam supporting said at least one stator, which stator beam has at least one side face carrying ferromagnetic poles of said stator spaced apart by a pitch, and which mover comprises at least one counter-face facing said side face(s) of the stator beam, in which counter-face electro-magnetic components of the mover are arranged to co-act with the ferromagnetic poles mounted on the stator beam, which elevator comprises an elevator brake. According to the invention the side face of the stator beam facing the mover and/or the counter face of the mover facing the side face of the stator beam comprise(s) a brake surface which form(s) the brake interface of the elevator brake.

摘要: An elevator car arrangement includes an elevator car body and an elevator car sling. The elevator car arrangement further includes a hanging damper arranged to connect the elevator car body and the elevator car sling together for dampening vibrations coming from guide rails through the elevator car sling to the elevator car body. The hanging damper includes a first part connected to a bottom part of the elevator car body; a second part connected to the elevator car sling; and a damping element arranged to dampen vibrations coming from the second part to the first part. A method for dampening vibrations coming from guide rails through the elevator car sling to the elevator car body is disclosed.

An elevator arrangement includes a movable diverting pulley separate from the supporting structure, supported by which diverting pulley the section of roping is arranged to be suspended.
