Abstract:
An assembly of a wrench and a socket. The wrench has a penetrating driving hole, which has a retaining ring mounted therein. The socket, having a front end and a tail end, comprises a socketing portion axially extended between the front end and the tail end thereof for driving a fastening element. The socket comprises a retaining portion formed on the periphery thereof. The retaining portion has a retaining groove arranged at retaining corners radially indented for matching the retaining ring. The retaining groove is positioned between the front end and the tail end. The retaining portion further has a buffer groove formed between the retaining groove and the front end, so as to allow the buffer groove to successively provide a buffer or damping effect with the retaining ring when the retaining groove is decoupled from the retaining ring. Accordingly, the user is allowed to control his/her force more easily and improves the operational safety for the process of pulling out of the socket.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus of adaptive image and video coding including an alternative transform other than the discrete cosine transform (DCT) and discrete sine transform (DST) type VII (DST-VII) are disclosed. For at least one block size belonging to the size group, a transform from multiple transforms comprising an alternative transform in addition to DCT and DST-VII is selected and applied to a current block. The alternative transform may correspond to DCT type IV (DCT-IV) or DST type IV (DST-IV).
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides thermal interface materials that are useful in transferring heat from heat generating electronic devices, such as computer chips, to heat dissipating structures, such as heat spreaders and heat sinks. The thermal interface material also includes a coloring agent selected from the group consisting of: an iron based inorganic pigment; and an organic pigment.
Abstract:
According to the invention, generally, a microfluidic aliquoting (MA) chip, adapted to fit in a Petri dish, has a center well (inlet) connected by a plurality of microchannels to a plurality of side wells (outlets). A relatively large (such as 120 μL) cell suspension having several cells may be injected into the inlet of the MA chip, and single cells may be substantially simultaneously and uniformly distributed, via positive pressure-driving flow, to the several (such as 120) side wells having single cells in less than 1 minute. The MA Chip has a high efficiency in cell recovery. Due to rapid isolation and easy identification of single cells, high cell viability, high enrichment factor, and convenient transfer of submicroliter single-cell suspension, MA Chips are well compatible with CTC isolation from blood, single-cell cloning, PCR, and sequencing.

Abstract:
Improvements in a conduit locking connector that connects rigid conduit to an electrical junction box. Rigid conduit provides the benefit of allowing an installer to screw onto the side of the rigid conduit to frictionally lock into the rigid conduit with the conduit locking connector. A screw engages into rigid conduit that provide a hard bearing surface on opposing sides of the screw. This provides minimal bending of the rigid conduit for a firmer grip of the rigid conduit to the conduit locking connector. The conduit locking connector provides a physical interface that locks onto the rigid conduit and locks onto the junction box. The conduit locking connector provides anti-rotation between the rigid conduit and the junction box. Anti-rotation is with tabs that extend below a planar surface of the conduit locking connector and engage into holes in recesses in the junction box.
Abstract:
A method of converting first data into second data includes: determining a target symbol corresponding to the first data by utilizing a determining unit; and generating the second data corresponding to the determined target symbol. One of the first data and the second data is a syntax element, and the other of the first data and the second data is an entropy-coded result of the syntax element. The target symbol corresponding to the first data is determined adaptively according to occurrence probability of candidate syntax element values of the syntax element.
