摘要: A fuel injection nozzle is provided with a valve seat having a valve opening in which a valve is slidably provided, and a seat portion on which the valve is seated, and a nozzle tip having a sack portion and an injection opening 36a formed on the sack portion. The valve seat is formed of metal, and at the same time, the nozzle tip is molded by metal injection molding, wherein the valve seat and nozzle tip are joined by welding, or after the injection opening of the nozzle tip is formed from the upstream side in the fuel injection direction by laser machining, the valve seat and nozzle tip are joined by welding.

摘要: To weld a filter made of a laser beam-transmittable fiber material to a case made of a laser beam-nontransmittable resin material by a laser beam the filter is first placed on the case; subsequently, the filter is pressurized by a jig to increase the fiber density of a welding portion; and then the welding portion is irradiated by the laser beam. In the step of increasing the fiber density, a periphery of the welding portion is pressurized by the jig to increase the fiber density of the filter in a larger area than the welding portion. Accordingly, the laser beam transmitting through the filter melts a part of the case, and the melted resin material permeates through gaps between the fibers constituting the filter, thereby welding the welding portion to the case.

摘要: An evaporated fuel collecting apparatus comprises a canister containing an adsorbent for collecting evaporated fuel (vapor) generated in a fuel tank, an inflow port, a purge port, and an atmospheric port, which are formed in the canister. The inflow port is used to introduce the vapor generated in the furl tank into the canister. The purge port is used to purge the vapor collected in the canister. The atmospheric port is used to introduce atmospheric air into the canister. The canister is provided with a photocatalyst device including a photocatalyst for oxidatively decompose the vapor when exposed to light irradiation and an ultraviolet LED which irradiates light to the photocatalyst. The photocatalyst device is disposed in correspondence with the atmospheric port.
