    摘要： A bead, useful in a fabric aqueous laundering process to impart to the fabric, when dried, at least one of the properties (i) softness, and (ii) antistatic effect, comprises a porous substrate, and substance absorbed onto said substrate to produce at least one of said (i) and (ii) properties in the fabric. A barrier layer may be formed about said substrate and characterized as dispersing in laundry wash water; a solubilizing or dispersion aid such as a nonionic surfactant may be mixed with said substance and also absorbed onto the substrate; and a hardener may be mixed with said substance and also absorbed onto the substrate.

    摘要： A selective targeting method is disclosed which comprises contacting a peptide library with an anti-target to allow the peptides to bind; separating non-binding peptides from the anti-target bound peptides, contacting the non-binding anti-target peptides with a target allowing the unbound peptides to bind with the target to form a target-bound peptide complex; separating the target-bound peptide complex from peptides which do not bind to the target, and identifying the target-bound peptides. In one embodiment the target is skin or hair. In another embodiment the anti-target is hair when the target is skin, and the anti-target is skin when the target is hair.

    摘要： A novel textile treatment composition is provided which comprises a builder which does not comprise a significant portion of zeolite. A novel detergent is provided which comprises the following ingredients: (a) 3-25% of water by weight; (b) 20-50% of an alcohol ethoxylate by weight; (c) 5-30% of soda ash by weight; (d) 20-50% of a phosphate type builder by weight; and (e) an alkaline cellulase. The detergent provides optimum conditions for the activity of the alkaline cellulase on the fabrics in the laundry.
