    摘要: A radio pager of the present invention displays a number of stored information in an as ascending order or a descending order selected by the user on a rotary switch included in the pager. In addition, the pager allows the user to see and desired information first by rearranging the information in a storage area on the basis of an information number, a confirmation flag, and a content. The user can therefore select personal and shared information stored in the pager by turning the rotary switch in a jog dial fashion in the ascending order or the descending order or even in any desired order. This enhance easy and efficient search and rapid information selection. The user can also input various data management commands into the radio pager via an interface means 20.

    摘要: To provide a semiconductor device having improved reliability at an improved production yield.After forming an insulating film on the main surface of a semiconductor substrate as an oxide film, form a silicon nitride film on the insulating film. Then, form an element isolating trench by plasma dry etching, form an insulating film made of silicon oxide so as to fill the trench by using HDP-CVD, and remove the insulating film outside the trench by CMP, while leaving the insulating film in the trench. Then, remove the silicon nitride film, followed by removal of the insulating film by wet etching to expose the semiconductor substrate. At this time, the insulating film is wet etched while applying light of 140 lux or greater to the main surface of the semiconductor substrate.

A count section of a decoder circuit counts the time period elapsing from removal of the battery to insertion of a replacement battery detected by a battery removal/insertion detection circuit using a reference clock. An operation section reads a message retentive time from a ID-ROM indicating the time allowed for retaining the message preset in the RAM after removing the battery and outputs an operation result obtained by subtracting the elapsed time from the message retentive time. A CPU receives output information of the operation section 6c and edits the output information conforming to the remaining time for retaining the message so as to be displayed on the LCD 8.
