摘要: To securely lock connectors for charging, a charging connectors 1 is engaged with a vehicle-side connector 25, lock balls 9 are engaged with an engaging groove 28 and a locking member 10 is engaged with the lock balls 9. As a result, the connectors 1 and 25 are locked. Since the connectors 1 and 25 are locked by a ball lock mechanism taking advantage of the engagement of the lock balls 9, the connectors can be more securely locked even if the connectors and wires are heavy as compared to a prior art locking mechanism adopting an elastically deformable resin lance or engaging member and, therefore, a better reliability can be ensured.

摘要: A connection system and connection method for easily charging an electric automotive vehicle are provided. A secondary coil 20 connected with a battery 21 is provided at the bottom of a body of an electric automotive vehicle E. On the other hand, a recess A is formed in the ground of a parking lot, and a coil moving device 30 for movably supporting a primary coil 10 is installed in the recess A. Three magnetic sensors 50 are provided on a body 40 of the coil moving device 30. Further, power supply circuits 13a to 13e provided in an external power supply equipment 11 at the back of the parking lot and a main controller 12 supply power to the primary coil 10, magnetic sensors 50 and coil moving device 30 and control them. In order to charge the battery 21, the vehicle E is parked, straddling the recess A, and the secondary coil 20 is excited. Then, the magnetic sensors 50 detect the position of the secondary coil 20, and the main controller 12 drives the coil moving device 30 to guide the primary coil 10 to a position where both coils 10, 20 are to be electromagnetically coupled.

摘要: To facilitate the charging of an electric automotive vehicle, a primary coil 31 connected with a charging power source is so provided as to project from a wall surface W of a parking space. An electric automotive vehicle E is advanced toward the wall surface W and parked in a position where the primary coil 31 is accommodated in a receptacle 11 provided below a front bumper B of the vehicle E. Then, a pressure switch 40 provided in a shock absorbing material 39 operates to detect the presence of the vehicle E, and the primary coil 31 is excited. A secondary coil 14 is provided above the receptacle 11. A voltage is generated in the secondary coil 14 by action of electromagnetic induction, thereby charging a battery 19.

摘要: A connector connection structure includes: a female connector on a housing accommodating a dynamo-electric machine mounted in a vehicle; and a male connector shaped so as to be fitted into the female connector by inserting it with a force not smaller than a predetermined amount. The male connector includes a contact joinable with a contact of the female connector to be electrically connected, and a rod-like lever connected with the male connector via a fulcrum. The lever generates the force not smaller than a predetermined amount by applying, with its one end's position being restricted, a rotation force to the other end. The housing includes a protrusion for restricting the position of the one end.

摘要: A cable (150) for supplying electric power to a motor is electrically connected to an inner conductor (125) of a terminal block (120) via a contact (124) by a mating structure of a male connector (200) and a female connector (108). A connecting member (130) for electrically connecting the inner conductor (125) and a motor winding (116) includes a fixed terminal (132) and a movable terminal (135). The fixed terminal (132) is electrically connected to the inner conductor (125) by a fixing member (140) and has a portion formed to extend along a terminal (117) at the tip of the motor winding (116). The movable terminal (135) is elastically deformable in accordance with the position of the terminal (117) and arranged to hold the terminal interposed between itself and the fixed terminal (132). As a result, a motor module can be assembled to the terminal block (120) integrally formed with a housing (100), while component tolerance is effectively absorbed by the connecting member (130).

摘要: This invention provides a connector which can positively effect coupling and detaching of a female connector, prevent electric shock and short-circuiting, and prevent an electric failure arising from contamination by extraneous substances. A lid plate 15 is biased by a compression coil spring 22 so that the lid plate is held by limit projections 26 at a protection position for covering male terminals 12 when a female connector is not coupled to the connector. Even if the lid plate 15 is pushed down by an external force so that the male terminals 12 are exposed from the lid plate 15, it can return to the protection position by itself when the external force is released. Since the lid plate 15 is constrained from rotating circumferentially at the protection position, the male terminal 12 smoothly passes through a terminal-through hole 16 in the lid plate 15 when the female connector 40 is inserted into a hood 13 and then the male terminals 12 are connected to female terminals 43. When the female connector 40 is extracted from the hood 13, the lid plate 15 is moved to the protection position by a bias of the compression coil spring 22. The terminal-through holes 16 in the lid plate 15 are closed by deformable tongue pieces of a dust-proofing rubber plate 150 to prevent the entrance of dust, water, or the like.

摘要: A cable for supplying electric power to a motor is electrically connected to an inner conductor of a terminal block via a contact by a mating structure of a male connector and a female connector. A connecting member for electrically connecting the inner conductor and a motor winding includes a fixed terminal and a movable terminal. The fixed terminal is electrically connected to the inner conductor by a fixing member and has a portion formed to extend along a terminal at the tip of the motor winding. The movable terminal is elastically deformable in accordance with the position of the terminal and arranged to hold the terminal interposed between itself and the fixed terminal. As a result, a motor module can be assembled to the terminal block integrally formed with a housing, while component tolerance is effectively absorbed by the connecting member.

摘要: A male connector to be connected to a female connector provided at a housing accommodating a vehicle-mounted electrical device includes a contact point to be connected to a contact of the female connector, a cable connected to the contact point, and a shield shell covering the contact point. A fixing structure for the male connector includes a bolt for fixing the shield shell to the housing, on the contact point side, and a clamp for fixing the cable to the housing, on the cable side. The fixed state of the cable established by the clamp is such a state as to allow for more movement of an object to be fixed than does the fixed state of the shield shell established by the bolt.
