摘要: An immunoassay method comprising bringing an immobilized phase comprising, at different positions on a water-absorbable base material, at least two first immunity substances capable of specifically binding with at least two kinds of assay target substances selected from the group consisting of verotoxin-producing Escherichia coli, verotoxin and human hemoglobin contained in a test sample, into contact with a test sample and a liquid containing labeled immunity substances each comprising a second immunity substance that is labeled with colored particles and capable of binding with said assay target substance, thereby to form an assay target substance-labeled immunity substance complex and to bind said complex with respective first immunity substances at the immobilized phase. The immunoassay method, the immunoassay device and the immunoassay kit of the present invention enable easy and simultaneous analysis of O157 (VTEC), VT and Hb in a test sample, by adsorption of the assay target substances on an immobilized phase and evaluation of the developed color.

摘要: A pressure sensitive adhesive sheet for the detection of microorganisms, which comprises a laminate of an adhesive layer mainly composed of a water-soluble polymer and a water-permeable membrane which does not allow passage of the microorganisms; a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet for the detection of microorganisms, wherein the surface of the adhesive layer has a contact angle with water of not more than 90°; and a method for detecting a microorganism, which comprises bringing the surface of an adhesive layer of a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet into contact with the surface of a test object, and then bringing the surface of the adhesive layer into contact with water, said adhesive layer or water containing a chromogenic reagent. The use of the laminate makes it possible to leave only stained microorganisms on the water-permeable membrane and to precisely observe the color developed by the microorganisms. The method of the present invention enables real-time monitoring without culture of microorganisms, and is not limited to the detection of viable cells alone. Inasmuch as a contact of the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet with a test face results in accumulation of microorganisms, the manipulation is simple. In addition, by properly determining a chromogenic reagent, a specific microorganism alone can be detected and counted, so that it can be applied to environmental investigation in the medical field, food industry field and the like.

摘要: An insect communication disturbing material comprises a covering material and a pheromone component to be included therein, wherein the included pheromone component exudes on the surface of the covering material in such a condition that it can be transferred and adhered to insect pests which contact with the insect communication disturbing material. The material is used in a method for disturbing insect communication which comprises attracting male adult insects to the above-described material, thereby effecting their contact with the insect communication disturbing material and adhesion of the pheromone component to the body of the male adults, and subsequently allowing the contacted males to be free without capturing them.

摘要: For each pixel of an input image, a direction toward which variation in pixel value between the relevant pixel and its peripheral pixels is largest and an amount of the variation in pixel value are computed, where a direction unit vector that indicates the direction toward which the variation is largest and a variation vector that represents the amount of the largest variation in the pixel value are computed. For each pixel, a regularization strength is computed utilizing the direction unit vector, the variation vector, and a regularization strength computing formula so that the larger the amount of the variation in pixel value toward a direction indicated by the direction unit vector, the less the regularization strength. An optimization function is determined based on the input image and the regularization strength for each pixel thereof and assigns a value for each pixel, by which the determined optimization function has the minimum value, to the corresponding pixel of a restored image to be generated.

摘要: An inside/outside determining unit determines whether a touch position of a contact body is located outside or inside an inside/outside determining target region defined with respect to a display position of an image object as a target region for inside/outside determination of the touch position of the contact body. The signal generating unit generates a signal indicating the operation performed with respect to the image object when it is determined that the touch position of the contact body is located outside the inside/outside determining target region.
