    摘要: Welding equipment includes a torch for irradiating a laser beam, wire feeding means for feeding a filler wire, and tracking means for controlling the moving tracks of the torch and the wire feeding means so as to make the moving tracks follow a welding line. The tracking means has a contactor provided so as to be advanceable/retractable for making contact with a joint object resiliently. The torch and the wire feeding means are moved so as to follow the welding line by touching the contactor of the tracking means resiliently to the joint object while feeding the filler wire to a welding portion and irradiating that portion with the laser beam, thereby joining the joint objects.

    摘要: An improvement in high-speed and response performances is achieved with simple structure. A bed faces a movable table on which permanent magnets divided from each other in a stroke direction of the movable table are provided. One or more armature coils are provided on the bed facing the permanent magnets. Upon passage of an electric-current through the armature coils, an electromagnetic interaction between the armature-coil current and magnetic fluxes of the permanent magnets produces a thrust force for relative movement between the two mobile units. A magnetic member is provided on the movable table in a position corresponding to a maximum point or a vicinity thereof of a magnetic force of the permanent magnets when the movable table is in a neutral position in the stroke direction. When the mobile units relatively move from the neutral position, the magnetic force of the permanent magnets acts on the magnetic member.

    摘要: A sliding system has an X-table and a Z-table, which are actuated by linear motors, respectively. The Z-table is arranged on the X-table at the same side of the X-table as a bed is laid. The sliding system constructed as stated earlier is made slim or compact in height or thickness.

    摘要: A semiconductor mounting board 80 is prepared by electrically joining an IC chip 70 via an interposer 60 of high rigidity to external pads 41 and internal pads 43, which are formed on the uppermost surface of a build-up layer 30. When the IC chip 70 generates heat, since pads 41 are positioned away from the center, a large shearing stress is applied to the portions at which pads 41 are joined to the interposer 60 in comparison to the portions at which pads 43 are joined to the interposer 60. Here, pads 41 are formed at substantially flat wiring portions and thus when joined to the interposer 60 by means of solder bumps 51, voids and angled portions, at which stress tends to concentrate, are not formed in the interiors of solder bumps 51. The joining reliability is thus high.

    摘要: Here is disclosed a stage system enabling position control of a tiny angle by virtue of a linear motor and becoming greater in response ability, with even slimness and small size in construction. The stage system has a first stage lying on a base stage for linear movement in an X-direction relatively to the base stage, a second stage lying on the first stage for linear movement relatively to the first stage in a Y-direction, a turning stage lying on the second stage to be supported through rolling bearing means on the second stage, and a turning linear motor for driving the turning stage over a tiny amount of angle in either direction of rotation. The turning linear motor is comprised of a primary side of more than one armature winding arranged in juxtaposition in straight line on the second stage, and a secondary side of field magnets arranged in juxtaposition in opposition to the armature winding on the turning stage, with magnetic poles alternating in polarity in straight line.
