    摘要: A spark plug includes an electrode tip assembly located at an axially-facing free end surface of an electrode body. The electrode tip assembly includes an electrode tip body and a firing tip and has a longitudinal axis that is generally perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the electrode body. The electrode tip body may be a Ni-alloy piece and is attached to the electrode body, and the firing tip may be an Ir-alloy piece with a sparking surface that faces a spark gap. The electrode body may include a groove formed in the axially-facing free end surface that is useful to help position the electrode tip assembly for attachment. The spark gap can be formed between opposing electrode tip assemblies, and the size of the spark gap can be adjusted during assembly without the need for bending the electrode body.

    摘要: A french fry cooking apparatus for deep-frying french fries includes a cooking unit having a plurality of frying baskets. Mounted above the cooking unit is a refrigeration unit which includes a first conveyor upon which a supply of frozen french fries is stored. The first conveyor discharges the fries onto a second conveyor which dispenses a metered quantity of fries to a delivery mechanism. The delivery mechanism includes a shaft and a rotatable directional chute for directing the frozen fries from the second conveyor into any one of the plurality of frying baskets. The frying baskets are pivotally attached to the cooking unit and are each movable by way of a drive unit between a loading/draining position for receiving fries from the chute and for draining oil from deep fried fries, a cooking position for deep frying the fries, and a dump position for discharging the deep fried fries from the frying basket. Deep fried fries are discharged onto a further conveyor which takes the fries to a holding bin. The fries are then distributed from the holding bin to customers as per their orders. Frozen french fries are loaded onto the first conveyor by way of a loading mechanism having a loading bin.

    摘要: A frying apparatus for food products is described which includes a fat holding tank, a transfer conveyor within the tank extending from one end to the other for transporting food products through the tank and a drive motor for the conveyor. The conveyor is preferably provided with upwardly extending, downwardly opening recesses to engage the top of the food products within the fat. The food products extend up into these recesses so that the engagement of the food products with the recesses is adapted to prevent slippage between the food and the conveyor. The invention also includes a provision for elevating and advancing incoming products within the fat to thereby transport them toward the outlet until securely engaged by the conveyor.

    摘要: A delamination resistant fried dough product such as a pizza shell having a unique structure is described. It is composed of a flat at least partially fried body of soft porous dough and crispable outer crust with a plurality of blisters having generally hemispherical upwardly extending domed upper surfaces. The blisters usually contain one or more cavities substantially larger in size than the pores of the dough. The blisters are spaced apart from one another laterally and ligaments of dough are located between the blisters to connect the upper and lower surfaces of the crust for the purpose of unifying the crust and preventing the top portion of the crust from becoming delaminated from the lower portion during the frying process. After the crust has cooled, a topping, such as a pizza topping, sugar or glaze, fruit, cheese, egg, custard, etc. is applied to the top surface of the crust which is then usually frozen.
