摘要: A plurality of users may access a processing unit operable for the development of a model, and model development instructions from the users may be received at the processing unit. The model may be developed in a plurality of steps using the model development instructions. Signoff instructions corresponding to the steps for developing the model may be received at the processing unit, each of the signoff instructions being received after each corresponding step is performed, with each of the plurality of signoff instructions indicating approval or denial. The respective step may be approved by the processing unit if the corresponding signoff instruction indicates approval, and rejected by the processing unit if the corresponding signoff instruction indicates denial. The processing unit is operable as a central location accessible by the users for developing, and signing off on the development of, the model according to the development instructions and the signoff instructions.

摘要: A multi-mode transmitter (301) is adapted to modulate a data packet (200) communicated by a wireless communications signal. The data packet includes a packet header comprising a preamble (201) and a start of frame delimiter (202), and a data payload comprising a payload data length portion (203) and a payload portion (204). The packet header is modulated with a spread spectrum technique. When transmitting a data payload in one mode, the data payload is also modulated with the spread spectrum technique. When transmitting a data payload in another mode, the data payload is modulated with a non-spread spectrum technique.

摘要: A method and apparatus for determining a fault in an electric motor (50) determines a calculated star voltage (Vstar—calc) of the electric motor. The calculated star voltage (Vstar—calc) is compared to a measured star voltage (Vstar—meas) of the electric motor (50) to determine a star voltage error (Vstar—err). The fault in the electric motor (50) is determined when the star voltage error (Vstar—err) exceeds a predetermined maximum star voltage error (Vstar—err—max).

摘要: A smart-card based system and methods to control access to a plurality of attractions within a geographical area. The system may include one or more reward terminals that are located at attractions and are configured to read smart cards presented to them and, assuming the card is valid for that location, allow the card holder to access the attraction. Each smart card may be programmed with a product code that defines the attractions at which the card may be used. Product codes may be stored in a central database along with a list of the attractions associated with the each product code. The list of attractions may be updated as desired, thereby updating and changing the attractions at which any given card may be used.
