    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a nutriment track and alert system and method. The system includes at least one monitoring station configured to support a container; at least one weight-measuring device for detecting and measuring the container weight and/or weight differentials when a container is placed or lifted on the monitoring station. The monitoring station or weight-measuring device communicates with a computer executable protocol that can be executable on a mobile device, computer, web server, and/or coupled or housed in the system itself. The protocol can store medication data through user input or through communication with the monitoring station or weight-measuring device. When the weight-measuring device or the protocol detects a change in the weight differentials not aligned with the medication data, the system submits and alert.

    Abstract: A cell capture, disruption, and extraction method includes a introducing a plurality of abrasives in a disruption chamber, which can include diamond powder, variably and multi dimensionally disbursed therein, and a pestle positioned in the disruption chamber. The method includes agitating the abrasives by moving the disruption chamber and/or pestle, agitation of the abrasives tearing cell structure in the solution to access its contents. A binding column or size exclusion column can be positioned downstream of the disruption chamber. Cell solution can first be introduced in the disruption chamber, the abrasives capturing the cells and allowing therethrough and purging the waste content, then breaking the cell content. The lysate can then bind to an extraction matrix downstream of the disruption chamber or it can be mixed in with the abrasives.

    Abstract: A reagent delivery method includes placing a reagent delivery column including a plurality of reagent storage elements therein in a centrifugal device, coupling a breaching element to the housing, and rotating the centrifugal device to force the reagent storage elements toward the breaching element, breaching of the reagent storage elements releasing reagent therein and communicating the same to an external environment. A reagent delivery system includes a column having a housing, a plurality of reagent storage element sheets positioned in the housing or forming a stack, a plurality of breaching elements, and a microplate having a plurality of wells, the microplate coupled to the housing where each well corresponds or aligns with a breaching element and a reagent storage element. The system can be rotated in a centrifugal device to force the reagent storage element stacks toward the breaching elements.

    Abstract: A reagent delivery device includes a reagent delivery column with a housing receiving reagent storage elements that can move, and a breaching element coupled to the housing. The device includes an actuation member that during operation forces the reagent storage elements toward the breaching element. Breaching the storage elements releases the reagent. The breaching element and/or the housing are configured to communicate reagent between the reagent storage element and a target chamber coupled to the housing. The breaching element can be a needle, a blade, or a combination thereof. Multiple reagent delivery columns can be coupled to microplate wells for larger scale reagent delivery and processing. Biasing elements such as a spring and a counterweight can be directly or indirectly coupled to the housing and/or the reagent storage elements, resisting and/or moderating movement of the reagent elements.
