摘要: A method of producing a recyclable image recording support material including a paper layer capable of copying or recording images thereon is conducted by the steps of applying to an image-bearable side of an image recording support material including a paper layer an aqueous coating liquid selected from the group consisting of an aqueous surfactant solution, an aqueous water-soluble polymer solution, and a mixture of the aqueous surfactant solution and the aqueous water-soluble polymer solution, in an extremely small amount; removing images, if any, from the image-bearable side of the image recording support material by bringing an image releasing member into contact with the image-bearable side of the image recording support material under application of heat and pressure thereto; and drying the image recording support material. An image recording support material is produced by the above method. A method of recyling an image recording support material, based on the above method, is also conducted. An apparatus for producing a recyclable image recording support material and an apparatus for recycling an image recording support material for use in practice are made.

摘要: A method of recycling an image-deposited recording material having a surface portion which swells in contact with water and bears thereon deposited images containing an image-constituting material, include the steps of: (a) applying a water-containing image removal promoting liquid to the image-deposited surface portion of the recording material, (b) bringing an image release member into contact with the image-deposited surface portion of the recording material to transfer the images to the image release member to remove the images from the image-deposited recording material, and (c) applying heat to the image-deposited recording material at least after the step (a), with substantially retaining the water component of the image removal promoting liquid in the image-deposited surface portion. In addition, there is disclosed an apparatus for recycling the above-mentioned image-deposited recording material comprising an image removal promoting liquid application means, a water evaporation preventing means, a heat-application means for heating the image-deposited recording material in such a manner that the water component of the image removal promoting liquid is retained in the surface portion, and an image release means.

摘要: In a regenerating method and apparatus of a recorded material in which at least a portion of the recorded material in the vicinity of a surface thereof on an image forming side is wet and expands with a liquid, the wet and expanding liquid (also called an image removing accelerating liquid in the following description) is provided to the recorded material so that the portion of the recorded material in the vicinity of the surface thereof is wet and expands with this liquid. A separating member comes in contact with an image forming substance having a film shape and a thermoplastic or thermally melted property and formed in the vicinity of the surface of the recorded material in a state in which joining force between the image forming substance and the recorded material is reduced. An image in the vicinity of the surface of the recorded material is transferred onto the separating member so that the image forming substance on the recorded material is removed therefrom. The image removing accelerating liquid is provided to the same recorded material plural times.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an adhesive composition for optical applications, which is capable of suppressing luminance unevenness without deteriorating the contrast characteristics in optical applications, and which can be used for optical members and prevents the optical members from separation in a reliability test; an adhesive layer; an optical member; an image display device and the like. An adhesive composition for optical applications, which contains a modified (meth)acrylic graft polymer and an isocyanate crosslinking agent, is prepared. The modified (meth)acrylic graft polymer is obtained by graft polymerizing chains, each of which contains a cyclic ether group-containing monomer, to the trunk polymer, and contains, as constituent components, an alkyl(meth)acrylate, a cyclic ether group-containing monomer, and an acyclic ether group-containing monomer. An adhesive layer for optical applications, which is formed from the composition, an optical member, an image display device and the like are also produced.

摘要: A reactive polymer-supporting porous film is provided as a battery separator which comprises a porous substrate film and a partially crosslinked reactive polymer supported on the porous substrate film. The partially crosslinked reactive polymer is obtained by the reaction of a crosslinkable polymer having at least one group selected from the 3-oxetanyl group and epoxy group reactive with a polycarboxylic acid. The reactive polymer-supporting porous film has a separator and electrodes sufficiently bonded to each other and with low inner resistance suitably used for production of battery excellent in high rate performance. Further, provided is a method of producing a battery which comprises placing the electrode/reactive polymer-supporting porous film layered body in a battery container; introducing an electrolytic solution containing a cationic polymerization catalyst into the battery container thereby bonding the porous film and electrodes together.
