摘要: End-to-end joining of sleeves. A first glue strand is applied to the end joint surface of one of the sleeves, the first glue strand having properties that cause an immediate fixing of the end joint surfaces of the sleeves. A second glue strand is applied to the end joint surface of one of the sleeves, the second glue strand having properties that causing wetting of the sleeve material in the joint surface and its immediate vicinity. The end joint surface of a first one of the sleeves is positioned against the end joint surface of a second one of the sleeves so that the first glue strand causes an immediate fixing of the end joint surfaces, and the second glue strand is allowed to set. The apparatus includes alignment devices for positioning the sleeves adjacent glue nozzles and for positioning the sleeves in end-to-end contact.

摘要: An apparatus for emptying a reel on which a web of material is wound in layers. A frame supports the reel. A carriage is mounted on the frame for reciprocal movement longitudinally in a first direction and in a second direction opposite the first direction over the reel. A knife is mounted on the carriage for movement with the carriage to cut sheets of material from the web as the carriage moves over the reel. A plough removes cut sheets of the material from the reel as the carriage moves over the reel.

摘要: A method, in a network node, for mapping a wholesale network user's identity onto a mobile network user identity that is routable in the mobile network, comprises: receiving, through a communication interface of the network node, a request from the user of the wholesale network for a service provided by the mobile network, where the user of the wholesale network is not registered in the mobile network. The method further comprises, based on the requested service, selecting a routable identity among a group of identities associated with the requested service, in the mobile network, by a processor of the network node. Finally, the method comprises: mapping the selected routable identity of the mobile network to the wholesale network user's identity, by the processor of the network node.

摘要: A method and means for keeping cattle in a stall barn is provided. The barn has feeding and resting places where each animal is kept during feeding and rest in a separate stall defined by vertical parallel side stall partitions, the animals being free from restraining connections to the feeding table and said partitions and being confined at the rear of the stall by a closing means controlled by power transmissions means which lifts it to a level above the standing height of the animals to allow them to back out from their individual stalls and move to a common collecting place along a predetermined route of a way system, the animals being subsequently returned to their stalls by the same or a different route, and the closing means being returned to confining position behind the animals, said routes being established by a plurality of adjustable gates within said way system, the gates being set in different positions by individual power transmission means. The animals are divided into a plurality of individual groups having a small number of animals in each group, the groups being distributed along said feeding and resting places, said power transmission means for both the closing means and the gates being automatically controlled by control means of a common control station. Said control means is permitted to actuate the power transmission means for the closing means in a predetermined sequence depending on the particular group of animals being selected and at the same time actuate the power transmission means for those gates which are to be set to establish said predetermined route for the group selected when this is to be moved to or from said collecting place.

摘要: Process and apparatus for controlling a hydraulic lift wherein with this process, a direct approach to a floor can be achieved without requiring a creeping velocity drive, whereby the car is controlled in a position-dependent manner during the deceleration phase, for the purpose of which a control region is formed which is subdivided into percentage values, the percentage values being retained in tabular form with reference to measured actual position values and upon input of a specific actual position value, the corresponding percentage value is multiplied with the value of the control region (CS) and to this product eventually are added a control deviation (CO) and a pilot control signal (SO) wherein the sum which constitutes the actual control signal used during the deceleration phase, is forwarded to a regulation valve arrangement. An apparatus for carrying out the process is also set forth.

摘要: In a method for preparing a starch solution, particles containing starch are mixed with cold water and subjected to shear forces, such that any agglomerates formed are broken up, and each individual particle is wetted, whereupon the mixture is heated to at least about 60.degree. C. and maintained in the heated state until the viscosity maximum of the solution has passed. The wetting and the heating take place before a viscosity that is unacceptable from the point of view of handling has been reached.A device for implementing the method, a starch solution prepared in accordance with the method, and the use of such a starch solution for making paper are also disclosed.
