摘要: A fuel injection system includes an injector, a controller, and a cylinder internal pressure sensor. The injector injects fuel to an engine. The controller controls injection start timing of the injector, an injection amount, and a supply pressure of the injected fuel. The cylinder internal pressure sensor detects one of a cylinder internal pressure and a heat release rate of the internal combustion engine. The controller has a standard estimator and a corrector. The standard state estimator obtains a standard state of one of the cylinder internal pressure and the heat release rate upon fuel injection from the injector. The corrector corrects at least one of the injection start timing, the injection amount, and the supply pressure in a direction to eliminate a difference that exists between the standard state obtained by the standard state estimator and one of the cylinder internal pressure and the heat release rate detected by the cylinder internal pressure sensor.

The cylinder internal pressure sensor detects one of a cylinder internal pressure and a heat release rate of the internal combustion engine. The standard state estimation means obtains a standard state of one of the cylinder internal pressure and the heat release rate upon fuel injection from the injector. The correction means corrects at least one of the injection start timing, the injection amount, and the supply pressure in a direction to eliminate a difference that exists between the standard state obtained by the standard state estimation means and one of the cylinder internal pressure and the heat release rate detected by the cylinder internal pressure sensor.

摘要: In a cell culture in a sealed cell culture container, gradual deterioration of culture environment is prevented. A cell culture method in which cell culture is conducted by adding a fresh culture medium to a culture container in which cells and a culture medium are enclosed, which includes the steps ofadjusting the pH of said culture medium to be added to be higher than the pH which is optimum for culture of the cells, and/or adjusting the partial pressure of dissolved carbon dioxide of the culture medium to be added to be lower than the pressure which is optimum for culture of the cells, and/or adjusting the partial pressure of dissolved oxygen of the culture medium to be added to be higher than the pressure which is optimum for culture of the cells; and mixing the adjusted culture medium and the culture medium in said culture container to adjust at least any of the pH, the partial pressure of dissolved carbon dioxide and the partial pressure of dissolved oxygen to be optimum for culture of said cells, thereby to culture the cells in the culture container.

摘要: When a pressure-feeding period of a supply pump and an injection period of an injector overlap and an actual injection quantity is affected by a pump pressure-feeding quantity of fuel supplied by the supply pump, an engine control unit (ECU) calculates the pump pressure-feeding quantity supplied during the injection period and calculates a correction value in accordance with the pump pressure-feeding quantity. The ECU corrects a command injection quantity with the correction value. Thus, even if injection start timing changes in accordance with a change in an operating state and if the pump pressure-feeding quantity supplied during the injection period changes because of the change in the injection start timing, variation in the actual injection quantity can be inhibited. As a result, the injector can inject an optimum quantity of the fuel.

摘要: By maintaining the cell density during culture at an appropriate level and eliminating the procedure of transferring cells from a container to another container when a large amount of cells are cultured, damage on cells can be reduced, risk of contamination can be lowered, labor saving can be attained and automation can be attained.A cell culture apparatus including: a culture container 11 formed of a soft packing material and having an enclosure part 11-1 in which a culture medium and/or cells being cultured are enclosed is placed; a container table 12 on which the culture container 11 is placed; a roller 13 which is placed on the upper surface of the culture container 11 and divides the enclosure part 11-1 into two or more chambers; and a driving means 15 which relatively moves the roller 13 or the culture container 11, thereby to change the volume of the culture part 11-11 in the enclosure part 11-1 in which a culture medium or cells being cultured are enclosed.

摘要: Cell aggregate formation control and cell aggregate disintegration control are carried out with respect to cells in a culture container to increase cell proliferation efficiency. The number of the cells in the culture container is counted without disassembly of a culture system and irrespective of the density of the cells. An external force is applied to the culture container to carry out at least one of cell aggregate formation control and cell aggregate disintegration control with respect to cells in the culture container, thus culturing the cells. The external force is applied to the culture container by pressing an agitating member onto a top surface of the culture container placed in flat orientation to a predetermined pressing degree, and moving the agitating member in a horizontal direction at a predetermined speed, thus controlling at least one of cell aggregate formation and cell aggregate disintegration with respect to the cells in the culture container. A method for counting counted targets disposed in a liquid enclosed in a container includes adjusting a thickness of at least a part of the container. At least a part of the adjusted part is set as a measurement target region. A number of counted targets in the measurement target region is counted.
