摘要: The improved color image forming apparatus comprises a rotating member for rotationally scanning and transporting both an image-receiving material having an image-receiving layer and a colorant sheet having a peelable, thin colorant film, a holder for holding at least the image-recieving material on the rotating member, a lamenator for pressing the colorant sheet so that it adheres to the image-receiving material, a recording device for applying thermal energy to the image-receiving material and the colorant sheet, and a peel/transfer mechanism by which the colorant sheet that has been imagewise supplied with thermal energy by the recording device is peeled for transfer to form a monochromatic image on the image-receiving material. This procedure of monochromatic image formation is repeated for three or four colors to produce a full color image. The apparatus is compact and yet is capable of forming high-quality image while assuring that the colorant sheet can be adhered to or peeled from the image-receiving material uniformly without causing failure in registration, particularly without causing unevenness during peeling.

摘要: When exposing a predetermined pattern on a photosensitive material of a plate-like laminated body formed by applying a photosensitive film, which is formed of the photosensitive material and a support medium stacked on top of another, on a substrate with the photosensitive material toward the substrate, the reaction of the resist layer with oxygen is minimized. In order to achieve this, a peeling unit (180) for peeling the support medium from the photosensitive material (150) is provided within an exposure apparatus (1), and the predetermined pattern is exposed on the photosensitive material (150) by a scanner (162) immediately after the support medium is peeled from the photosensitive material (150) by the peeling unit (180).

摘要: Printed circuit boards having patterns of uniform line width can be produced. A lamination apparatus superposes a resist layer on a substrate. Further, the substrate is exposed to light carrying information representing lamination date/time. An exposure apparatus reads out the lamination date/time information before performing exposure and judges whether passage time from the lamination to the current time is within the range of predetermined hold time. If the judgment is NO, the exposure apparatus issues a warning to notify an operator that the passage time from the lamination to the current time is not within the range of the predetermined hold time. The operator may remove the substrate from the exposure apparatus because it is impossible to form a pattern of desirable line width on the substrate.

摘要: A recording apparatus for recording on a recording medium in a heated mode includes a first emitting portion and a second emitting portion. The first emitting portion emits writing light for providing recording spots on the recording medium. The second emitting portion emits sub-heating light for providing heating spots on the recording medium. A distance between the heating spot and the recording spot is substantially constant in a main scanning direction. The recording spots are arranged in a two-dimensional pattern including columns in the main scanning direction and rows in an auxiliary scanning direction. The recording spots aligned in the columns are inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the main scanning direction. The same number of heating spots as the columns of the recording spots is provided in parallel to the columns and inclined at the predetermined angle with respect to the main scanning direction.

摘要: When exposing a pattern on a recording medium, such as a printed wiring board on which a photosensitive layer having sensitivity to light, such as a resist layer or the like, is stacked, the photosensitive layer is prevented from unduly becoming irremovable or liable to be peeled off, while maintaining the adhesion of the layer. In order to achieve this, when a wiring pattern is exposed on a resist layer formed on a substrate by an exposure apparatus 3, irradiation energy of the exposure light is controlled to become greater in an edge portion of the wiring pattern than in the other portion of the wiring pattern.

摘要: Apparatus and method of forming a spacer for use in a liquid crystal panel are capable of economizing materials used for spacers for use in the liquid crystal panel and reducing a quantity of waste of the materials used, while being suitable for a large-scaled liquid crystal panel. A recording medium having an image forming layer is superposed on a substrate used to form a liquid crystal panel, then the recording medium is exposed through irradiation of a laser beam emitted from a recording head, and an image pattern of spacers is thereby recorded in the image forming layer. The image pattern of spacers thus recorded is then recorded on the substrate to be used as spacers for use in the liquid crystal panel by peeling off the recording medium from the substrate.
