    摘要: A power steering apparatus for turning a steerable wheel of a vehicle in response to steering operation by a driver. The apparatus comprises a hydraulic pump for pumping a fluid from a reservoir so as to supply pressurized fluid to a power cylinder formed in a gear housing through a direction control valve which is operable in response to rotation of the steering wheel for selectively delivering the pressurized fluid to pair of pressure chambers of the power cylinder. The apparatus further comprises an electric motor for rotating the hydraulic pump, an accumulator for accumulating the pressurized fluid discharged from the hydraulic pump, a detector for detecting the pressure of the pressurized fluid and for outputting a signal corresponding to the detected pressure, and a controller responsible to the signal from the detector for activating the electric motor only when the detected pressure is below a predetermined level. The hydraulic pump and the electric motor are mounted on the gear housing.

    摘要: A power steering apparatus of rack-and-pinion type comprising an input shaft steered by a driver, an output shaft operatively connected to a rack bar through a rack-and-pinion gear mechanism, a hydraulic cylinder operatively connected to the rack bar, and a rotary valve operatively connected to the input shaft. The steering apparatus further comprises an intermediate rotary member disposed between the input shaft and output shaft for rotation about an axis offset from the rotational axis of the output shaft, and a reduction gear mechanism arranged between the rotary valve and the intermediate rotary member. A cam mechanism is disposed between the intermediate rotary member and the output shaft for transmitting the rotation of the intermediate rotary member to the output shaft. The cam mechanism is composed of a cam groove formed on one of the intermediate rotary member and output shaft, and a follower roller provided on the other of the intermediate rotary member and output shaft to be engaged with the cam groove.

When an update occurs in one of a plurality of drawn windows which construct the display window, the two-dimensional drawing engine computes an original background color from a pixel to which a blend flag showing that the pixel is a target for an antialiasing process is added, the pixel being included in pixels of the window for which the update occurs, and carries out the antialiasing process and recombines pixels into the display window.
