Abstract: Disclosed are a wireless power transmitter and a power transmission method thereof. The wireless power transmitter includes a plurality of transmission resonance units, a detection power applying unit applying detection power to the transmission resonance units to detect a location of the wireless power receiver, and a current measuring unit measuring current generating from an inner part of the wireless power transmitter based on the applied detection power. The wireless power transmitter transmits the power through at least one transmitting resonance unit corresponding to the location of the wireless power receiver based on the measured current.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for wirelessly transmitting electromagnetic energy are provided. The apparatus includes a power source, a transmission unit, and a measurement unit. The power source supplies a power according to a certain frequency. The transmission unit receives the power to wirelessly transmit the received power through self resonance. The measurement unit measures a phase difference between a voltage and current of the transmission unit. The certain frequency is controlled according to the phase difference. Accordingly, the apparatus and method control only the frequency of the power supply when a resonance frequency is changed by the change of an ambient environment, thus enhancing energy transmission efficiency.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a wireless power receiving device. The wireless power receiving device having a metal body, includes a hole formed in one side of the metal body, a plastic film having a logo displayed on a surface thereof so as to be exposed outward through the hole, a receiving coil attached to a remaining surface of the plastic film, a first magnetism-shielding material attached to a surface of the receiving coil, and a second magnetism-shielding material formed on a bonding plane of the receiving coil and the metal body. The wireless power receiving device may minimize heat emission and power consumption by preventing the generation of eddy current due to the metal body thereof.
