    摘要: An apparatus used in a cooking pot and holding up to thirteen small-to-large chicken eggs for the purpose of steaming the eggs until cooked. The apparatus has a bottom surface with six lower egg supports and one center egg support. Six additional upper egg supports are located radially and alternatingly between six perimeter wall sections. The bottom surface is elevated on legs that allow a small volume of water to be placed under it and heated to steam the eggs. The perimeter walls extend upwardly from the bottom surface above eggs seated on the lower egg supports, each wall section having a beginning slicing guide slot aligned with the centers of seated eggs. Finishing slicing guide slots also extend through the center egg support and each of the lower egg supports to allow a slicing device inserted into the vertically-extending slicing guide slots to cut peeled eggs in half.

    摘要: A vacuum system comprises, as an integral assembly, a vacuum pump with drive motor, a purge valve, a roughing valve and an electronic control module. A cryogenic vacuum pump and a turbomolecular vacuum pump are disclosed. The control module has a programmed processor for controlling the motor and valves and is user programmable for establishing specific control sequences. The integral electronic control module is removable from the assembly and is connected to the other devices through a common connector assembly. In the turbomolecular pump system proper introduction of a purge gas through the purge valve is detected by detecting the current load on the pump drive or by detecting foreline pressure. To test the purge gas status, the purge valve may be closed and then opened as drive current or pressure is monitored. After power failure, the controller will continue normal drive of the turbomolecular pump so long as the speed of the pump has remained above a threshold value. Otherwise the vent valve will have been opened, and a start-up sequence must be initiated. During shutdown, power to the pump drive motor is discontinued and the vent valve is opened before the roughing valve is closed.

    摘要: Two suction cups are used to stably secure a radar detector or other device to the interior of a windshield of a motor vehicle, yet the suction cups are readily removed from the windshield by application of a single removal force which is applied to the suction cups, preferably simultaneously. The suction cups are each provided with an apertured protrusion or ear. The apertures of the ears receive a release bar which extends between the two cups and permits a single force to release both cups substantially simultaneously. The release bar includes an operating tab which can be activated by a user's thumb or finger(s) while the thumb or finger(s) and palm of one of the user's hands extend under the device. In this way, a radar detector or other device can be mounted by grasping it in one hand and forcing it against the windshield and removed from the windshield by the force of the grasping motion of one hand.
