    摘要: The present invention relates to a process for producing films which are resistant to tear propagation, by using biodegradable polyesters obtainable via polycondensation of: i) from 65 to 80 mol %, based on components i to ii, of one or more dicarboxylic acid derivatives or dicarboxylic acids selected from the group consisting of: succinic acid, adipic acid, sebacic acid, azelaic acid, and brassylic acid; ii) from 35 to 20 mol %, based on components i to ii, of a terephthalic acid derivative; iii) from 98 to 102 mol %, based on components i to ii, of a C2-C8-alkylenediol or C2-C6-oxyalkylenediol; iv) from 0.05 to 2% by weight, based on the polymer obtainable from components i to iii, of an at least trifunctional crosslinking agent or of an at least difunctional chain extender. The invention further relates to polymer mixtures which are suitable for producing films which are resistant to tear propagation.

    摘要: A combination refrigerator-freezer with dividing air-impermeable air-to-air heat exchanger is a system for cooling a refrigerator compartment and a freezer compartment utilizing a single cooling system and without mixing or exchanging air between the refrigerator compartment and the freezer compartment. Cold air is generated by the cooling system and circulated into the freezer compartment and into a freezer airflow compartment where the cold air cools an air-to-air heat exchanger. Warmer air circulating through a refrigerator airflow compartment positioned opposite to the freezer airflow compartment is cooled by the air-to-air heat exchanger and is in turn able to cool the refrigerator compartment. A control unit is utilized to control the temperatures within the refrigerator compartment and the cooling compartment and to ensure that the system is not active while defrosting is in progress. A first defroster and a second defroster are utilized to prevent key components from icing up.

    摘要: The invention at hand provides hydrolytically degradable ionic copolymers. These ionic copolymerizates are composed of one cyclic ketene acetal A, one anionic or cationic methacrylic acid derivative B, selected from 2-methyl-methacrylate, [2-(2-methyl-1-methylene-allyloxy)]ethanesulfonate, [2-(2-methyl-1-methylene-allyloxy)ethyl]phosphonate or a quaternary amine of the N,N-dimethylaminoethylmethacrylic acid (DMAEMA) and, optionally, a neutral methacrylic acid derivative C.The hydrolytically degradable anionic copolymers according to the present invention are produced by polymerizing the components A, B and C in the presence of a radical initiator under inert gas atmosphere and subsequent purification.All copolymers according to the present invention are hydrolytically degradable. Copolymers comprising a maximum of 40 mol-% of ester groups in the backbone are additionally biodegradable, wherein in the case of cationic copolymers a maximum of 20 mol-% of quaternized DMAEMA is allowed to be available.Cationic copolymers comprising at least 50 mol-% of the component B are antimicrobial.Both anionic as well as cationic copolymers are suitable for producing nanoparticles. Cationic copolymers are suitable for being used as superhydrophobic materials as well as adhesives. Anionic copolymers are suitable for biodegradable thermoplastic elastomers and for biodegradable ionomers.

    摘要: A water-soluble or water-dispersible copolymer comprises copolymerized units a) of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer with a saccharide side group and b) of at least one hydrophilic ethylenically unsaturated monomer different from (meth)acrylamide, where the weight fraction of the ethylenically unsaturated monomers with a saccharide side group is 5 to 95% by weight. The copolymers exhibit high affinity to inorganic surfaces or hydrophilic fibers, such as cotton. They serve as soil release and/or graying-inhibiting polymers in textile detergents or minimize the risk of microbial colonization of materials coated therewith.
