摘要： A motorized caulk gun has a housing which receives a plunger. The plunger is disposed adjacent to caulk cartridge which is received in the housing. The plunger is movable in a first direction to discharge caulk from the cartridge. A first and second plate moves the plunger rod in a direction to squeeze caulk from the cartridge. A first and second cam act on the plates via a cam follower such that the plates alternately engage the plunger rod to drive it in a forward direction to squeeze caulk from the cartridge.

The tape assembly is supported in the housing and contains a reel having a tape adapted to extend and retract from the front wall of the housing. The lens is coupled with an opening in the front wall of the housing and is adapted to move between a first position where the light source passes through the lens and a second position where the light source projects downwardly onto the extended tape.

摘要： A power operated tape measure enables measuring tape extension through a drive mechanism as well as measuring tape retraction through at least one of a drive mechanism and spring biasing on a tape reel. A tape cartridge assembly including an annular reel and a measuring tape wound onto the reel is positioned within a housing shell of the tape measure. A drive mechanism accomplishes tape extension out of the housing shell, and optionally, tape retraction into the housing shell by engaging with a surface of the measuring tape. An actuator initiates input on one or more switches that selectively control operation of the drive mechanism, and includes a lever arm for a user to make selections regarding tape extension and retraction. The actuator may be arranged such that lever arm motion in a forward direction enables tape extension and lever arm motion in a rearward direction enables tape retraction.

In another embodiment of the invention, the stationary clamp member may be repositioned on the frame to alter the dimensions of the clamp opening. In still another embodiment, the clamp device operatively connects to a secondary tool that engages the drive assembly.

The receiving tube and crank tube are coupled with respect to one another for telescoping movement. One of the tubes has a threaded member and the other tube has a thread engaging member. A mechanism engages and disengages the thread engaging member into the threaded member such that in an engaged position, the crank tube can be rotated in the receiving tube for screw type movement. In a disengaged position, the crank tube is freely slidable for sliding movement in the receiving tube.

The tail section is configured to mate with the drive shaft so that the body rotates with the drive shaft. One or more centering members are disposed adjacent to the jaws. The members are deformable from a first position where the members define a through passage configured to accept a bit, which has a drive shaft diameter less than a predefined diameter. The members are further configured to be deformable to a second position upon the insertion of a bit, which has a diameter greater than the predefined diameter, into the axial bore.

摘要： A pressurized gas cartridge drives a dispensing device for viscous product cartridges. The dispensing device and the viscous product cartridge form a gas enclosure separated from a product enclosure by a movable wall. A valve is driven by a rack and pinion valve drive mechanism between an open position and a closed position upon rotation of the pinion. The rack rotates the pinion upon linear movement thereof. A trigger is adapted to impart linear movement to the rack upon manual actuation of the trigger. The open position of the nozzle valve permits viscous product to flow through the dispensing passage, and the closed position of the nozzle valve prevents viscous product from flowing through the dispensing passage. The interface between the trigger and rack is designed to operationally disengage rather than transmit a force therebetween that is capable of damaging the device.

摘要： The present invention is directed toward a system for forming miter joints including a miter saw and an angle gauge. The miter saw includes a platform with a kerf slot and a pair of arcuate slots. Each arcuate slot includes an associated rail located on the underside of the platform. A fence is coupled to each of the rails such that the fence may be pivoted with respect to the platform. The angle measurement tool is a one-handed tool including spring loaded paddles that measure the angle between intersecting surfaces. The angle measurement tool connects to the miter saw to permit the transfer of the measured angle to the fences.
