    摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are provided for facilitating allocation of a common resource to a terminal. A method may include transmitting one or more inbound packet data units including an indication of a category of a terminal and an indication of an identity of the terminal to a network node responsible for managing allocation of a common resource to the terminal. The method may further include receiving an absolute grant of a portion of the common resource to the terminal, wherein the absolute grant is issued by the network node based at least in part upon the transmitted indication of the category of the terminal. Corresponding systems and apparatuses are also provided.

    摘要: The present invention addresses apparatuses, methods and computer program product for providing enhanced codeword re-transmission for multi-codeword in 4 antenna branch HSDPA MEMO wireless communication network, thereby preventing getting stuck in higher than rank 1 transmissions. When a negative acknowledgement signaling is received from a terminal upon transmission including a first and a second codeword to the terminal, the codeword not associated with the negative acknowledgement signaling is replaced with a temporary codeword, and a transmission a re-transmission of the codeword associated with the negative acknowledgement signaling and the temporary codeword to the base station is caused.

    摘要: In an embodiment there is established for a user equipment UE a first discontinuous reception DRX period of a first radio access technology RAT using at least one parameter that is common with a second DRX period of a second RAT for the UE. From the perspective of the network, transmission opportunities to the UE using the first RAT are arranged according to the established first DRX period. From the perspective of the UE, reception opportunities at the UE using the first radio access technology are arranged according to the established first DRX period. There may be one access node or two cooperating access nodes serving the UE with the different RATs. In different embodiments the DRX active periods may be purposefully aligned or misaligned. Examples of such a common DRX parameter include DRX cycle, DRX inactivity timer, and DRX on-duration time.
