Abstract: A plurality of battery cells of a battery pack may include at least one first battery cell arranged in a first row, at least one second battery cell arranged in a second row adjacent to the first row, at least one third battery cell arranged in a third row adjacent to the second row, and at least one fourth battery cell arranged in a fourth row adjacent to the third row. The at least one first battery cell and the at least one second battery cell are connected in series. Each of the at least one first battery cell is connected in parallel with a corresponding one of the at least one third battery cell. Each of the at least one second battery cell is connected in parallel with a corresponding one of the at least one fourth battery cell.

Abstract: A battery charger has a case with multiple receptacles where each receptacle is configured to receive a battery. A filter is mounted within the case wherein the filter connects to a power line and is configured to reduce electronic noise. One or more printed circuit boards (PCBs) are mounted within the case and are coupled to corresponding receptacles. The printed circuit boards supply electric current from the power line to charge the batteries and are coupled to an output section of the filter. The PCBs are arranged in parallel to each other. The filter is positioned adjacent to the power line within the case. The battery electrically connects to the PCB via the receptacle by sliding across guide rails on the case.
