摘要: The portable device is provided with a photograph unit to acquire, at a first time interval, images with a super wide angle of which a maximum value reaches all peripheral directions around the portable device; a traveling direction calculation unit to calculate a traveling direction of the portable device at a second time interval; an image segmentation unit to segment, as a traveling direction image, an image of a predetermined range where the traveling direction is positioned at a center thereof, from a latest acquired image every time the traveling direction calculation unit calculates the traveling direction; and a display control unit to display the traveling direction image on a predetermined traveling direction display region of a display of the portable device. The display control unit displays a video image designated by a user on a first display region, which is different from the traveling direction display region.

摘要: The present invention provides an image pickup device that recognizes the object that the user is attempting to capture as the subject, tracks the movement of that subject, and can continue tracking the movement of the subject even when the subject leaves the capturing area so that the subject can always be reliably brought into focus. The image pickup device includes a main camera that captures the subject; an EVF that displays the captured image captured by the main camera, a sub-camera that captures the subject using a wider capturing region than the main camera, and a processing unit that extracts the subject from the captured images captured by the main camera and the sub-camera, tracks the extracted subject, and brings the subject into focus when an image of the subject is actually captured. When the subject moves outside of a capturing region of the main camera, the processing unit tracks the subject extracted from the captured image captured by the sub-camera.

摘要: A content viewing method uses a viewing system including a content distribution server distributing contents, a mobile information terminal, and a viewing device reproducing a content. The mobile information terminal transmits user identification information and a user password to the content distribution server. The content distribution server authenticates the mobile information terminal based on the user identification information and the user password. The mobile information terminal transmits an account issue request requesting an account for reproducing a desired content to the content distribution server. The content distribution server issues the account based on the account issue request and transmits the account to the mobile information terminal. The mobile information terminal stores the account. The mobile information terminal transmits the account by short-range wireless communication. The viewing device stores the account received by short-range wireless communication. The viewing device reproduces the desired content using the stored account.

The controller determines whether the mobile information terminal is included in the user's FOV based on the status data, and performs display control with respect to the display so as to display an application screen of the mobile information terminal on the display when determining that the mobile information terminal is not included in the FOV, and not to display the application screen on the display when determining that the mobile information terminal is included in the FOV.
