    摘要: A fuel injection system comprising a common rail pressure reservoir filled with fuel at high pressure and having a dual-substance nozzle for dual fluid injection of fuel and a supplementary liquid into an internal combustion engine. The system includes a first 2/2-way valve, in the injection line between the common rail pressure reservoir and a pressure chamber surrounding the nozzle needle of the dual-substance nozzle, and a second 2/2-way valve, whose inlet communicates, via a feed line with the injection line at a point between the first 2/2-way valve and the pressure chamber. An outlet of the pressure chamber communicates with the low-pressure fuel side via a drain line (8). As a result, the otherwise usual, technologically much more complicated 3/2-way magnet valves can be replaced with more economical 2/2-way valves. At the same time, the possibility is afforded of shifting the quantity metering for supplementary liquid to a single metering valve that serves an entire group of fuel injectors.

    摘要: A fuel injection system with a common rail pressure reservoir which receives fuel at high pressure, and with a dual-substance nozzle for bifluid injection of fuel and a supplementary fluid into an intern combustion engine. The system includes a first 2/2-way valve (MV1) in the injection line between the common rail pressure reservoir and a pressure chamber surrounding the nozzle needle of the dual-substance nozzle, and a second 2/2-way valve (MV2), whose inlet communicates via a supply line with the injection line at a point between the first 2/2-way valve (MV1) and the pressure chamber (3.5), and whose outlet communicates with an outlet line on a fuel low-pressure side. The system is economical and at the same time, it becomes possible to shift the metering for supplementary fluid to a single metering valve that controls an entire group of injectors.

The system includes a first 2/2-way valve in the injection line between the common rail pressure reservoir and a pressure chamber encompassing the injector needle of the dual-fuel injector as well as a second 2/2-way valve, whose inlet is connected via a supply line to the injection line at a point between the first 2/2-way valve and the pressure chamber, and whose outlet is connected to the low-pressure fuel side by way of an outlet line. As a result, the otherwise conventional 3/2-way solenoid control valves, which are significantly more complex technically, can be replaced by more reasonably priced 2/2-way valves. At the same time, this raises the possibility of shifting the quantity metering for additive fluid to a single metering valve that serves an entire group of injectors.

    摘要: A dual-substance nozzle (3) for injecting fuel and supplementary fluid into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, having a nozzle body (3.0) with at least one inlet bore (3.2) for delivery of fuel at high pressure into the dual-substance nozzle (3), and nozzle bores (3.8) for injecting fuel from the dual-substance nozzle into the combustion chamber. A jacket (7), preferably metal, is disposed around the nozzle body (3.0) enclosing at least one hollow chamber (8), adjoining the outside of the nozzle body (3.0) and extending around the nozzle body (3.0) for receiving supplementary fluid. A feed line (5) for delivering supplementary fluid at high pressure into the hollow chamber and one or more injection nozzles for injecting supplementary fluid from the hollow chamber into the combustion chamber are provided. The injection of fuel and supplementary fluid are separate, insuring no mixing thereof upstream of the combustion chamber.
