摘要: A process for glueing together two non-metallic substrates with a hot polymerizable adhesive wherein a ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic filler material is distributed within the substrate and/or adhesive and the combination is subjected to induction heating by means of a magnetic field. The filler comprises particles having a defined size range, resistivity, coercive field and induced magnetic field such that the sum of the Foucault current losses and hysteresis losser permit the filler to provide power of 1000 to 10,000 W/cm.sup.3. The heating temperature is limited to about the maximum temperature of polymerization of the adhesive by fixing its duration to less than 60 seconds whereby the temperature of the adhesive/substrate interface is at least the minimum polymerization temperature.

摘要: The pool to be filamented is liquefied by heating in a crucible. A disk having an edge immersed in the molten pool rotates at high velocity and drives the pool outwards in the form of a ribbon which breaks up into pieces forming the required particles. The portion of the pool in contact with the disk is constantly replenished and, owing to the use of heating means, has sufficient fluidity to satisfy the conditions for extraction, the molten pool being continuously moved horizontally with respect to the disk.

摘要: To unravel a terminal portion of a textile yarn, in particular in preparation for joining that yarn to another one by twisting their ends together, an extremity of the yarn is vibrated to loosen the fibers while a part of the yarn spaced from its end is held fast and the yarn extremity is combed or subjected to an aspirated air stream to remove loose fibers. In a preferred arrangement the air stream also causes vibration of a flexible tongue mounted in an air duct alongside the yarn extremity to oscillate its fibers.

摘要: The yarn pieces to be joined are stretched between the two pairs of suction tubes (28, 29; 30, 31) and untwisted by being wound about spindles (20, 21). Hot compressed air fed along the surface of two blocks (32, 33) adjacent to the untwisted yarn portions remove free fibers and distribute the fiber tufts in the base of a channel formed in said blocks (32, 33). Said tufts are retained in the base of the channel by an electrostatic field formed with the aid of conductors (46) and the generator (GE). The blocks are then rotated about the rotation shafts (4, 5) until the channel edges are in contact with each other. Air is fed perpendicularly to the plane containing the fiber tufts in proximity to their respective ends in order to cause the fibers of the two tufts to interpenetrate, the spindles (20, 21) then being driven in the reverse direction in order to twist the fiber tufts and to disengage the yarn.

摘要: The dispenser comprises a flexible sealing-tight vessel (1) disposed in a rigid chamber (3) containing a ratchet mechanism comprising ratchet teeth (6) secured to a tubular element (4) and pawls (11) on resilient arms (10) mounted on a disc (9) disposed above the flexible bag (1). Resilient elements (12) fastened to the disc (9) lower it in proportion as a drink is withdrawn from the flexible bag (1). The ratchet mechanism retains the disc (9) when the pressure in the bag (1) becomes higher than atmospheric pressure.
