    摘要: A high-strength composition iron powder is prepared by mixing an iron base powder with 0.5 to 3.0 mass % of an Fe—Mn powder having a particle diameter of 45 μm or less and a Mn content in the range of 60 to 90 mass %, 1.0 to 3.0 mass % of a Cu powder, 0.3 to 1.0 mass % of a graphite powder, and 0.4 to 1.2 mass % of a powder lubricant for die-forming while adjusting the ratio of the amount of Mn contained in the Fe—Mn powder to the amount of the Cu powder in the range of 0.1 to 1. The high-strength composition iron powder is press-formed and sintered at a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of Cu to produce a high-strength sintered part having a tensile strength of 580 MPa or higher without using expensive alloying elements such as Ni and Mo.

    摘要: The purpose is to prevent ammonia from flowing out of a NOx selective reduction catalyst when an air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas flowing into a NOx storage/reduction catalyst decreases. An NSR catalyst, a NOx sensor, and an SCR catalyst are provided in an exhaust passage in sequence from an upstream side, and a control apparatus is further provided to determine an amount of ammonia supplied to the NOx selective catalytic reduction catalyst on the basis of a detection value of the NOx sensor. When the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas flowing into the NOx storage/reduction catalyst is set at or below a stoichiometric air-fuel ratio, an amount of ammonia supplied from an ammonia supply apparatus relative to the detection value of the NOx sensor is decreased so as to be smaller than when the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas is larger than the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio.

    摘要: Disclosed is an arrangement structure for a sensor to be mounted to an engine of a vehicle, wherein the engine is arranged in an engine compartment 2 of the vehicle in a posture allowing a crankshaft 8 of the engine to be oriented in a widthwise direction of the vehicle. The arrangement structure comprises a driveshaft 50 arranged along a vehicle-rearward lateral surface of the engine 1 facing in a rearward direction of the vehicle, to rotatably drive a front wheel, and a flange section 28a provided as a joining section between two members (12, 15) constituting the engine 1, to protrude in the rearward direction of the vehicle and at a height position below that of the driveshaft 50, wherein the sensor 42 is mounted to the vehicle-rearward lateral surface of the engine 1 at a height position located above the flange section 28a and in overlapping relation with the driveshaft 50 when viewed from a rear side of the vehicle. The arrangement structure of the present invention is capable of more reliably protecting the sensor mounted to the engine against foreign objects, such as water and a pebble, to adequately maintain performance of the sensor on a long-term basis.

    摘要: An apparatus for controlling a throttle opening degree of a diesel engine with a supercharger is disclosed. The apparatus includes an electronic control unit having functions of detecting section, a computing section, a correcting section, and a correction limiting/inhibiting section. The detecting section detects the atmospheric pressure, and the computing section computes an atmospheric pressure correction value with respect to the throttle opening degree based on the detected atmospheric pressure. The correcting section corrects the throttle opening degree in accordance with the atmospheric pressure correction value. When the degree of separation of an actual charging pressure from a target charging pressure in the supercharger is les than a predetermined value, the correction limiting/inhibiting section limits or inhibits correction of the throttle opening degree in accordance with the atmospheric pressure correction value.
