    摘要: It is generated a control information item including a script for the image processing which is described by a markup language. The control information item is communicated between an image supply device and an image output device connected via a communication path. A control protocol for communicating the control information item is interpreted by a first entity which executes processing for a first hierarchic layer of a communication protocol. A management protocol for managing an image data file including the image data is interpreted by a second entity which executes processing for a second hierarchic layer of the communication protocol which is lower than the first hierarchic layer. A physical layer of the communication path is controlled by a third entity which executes processing for a third hierarchic layer of the communication protocol which is lower than the second hierarchic layer. A command in the control information item is translated between the control protocol and the management protocol.

    摘要: An electronic apparatus includes: a timer member that clocks time on the basis of the power supplied from a power source. A power supply member supplies the power to an electric motor of the electronic apparatus and to the timer member from the power source and interrupts the power supply thereto. A heat storage calculating member calculates heat storage of the electric motor and calculates heat storage of the electric motor after stop of the drive on the basis of the time clocked by the timer member. A controller controls the electric motor and controls the power supply member by initiating power-on and power-off operations. This is performed so as to, maintain the power supply to the timer member and the heat storage calculating member during a predetermined time, even after the power-off operation of the operation member.

    摘要: The present invention provides a technique that prevents a shift of a driving waveform due to accumulation of errors in a process of generating the driving waveform to drive driving elements on a print head. The technique of the present invention successively sums up a plurality of gradient data at a preset calculation period to give a result of summation and carries out digital-to-analog (D-A) conversion with regard to only specific upper columns in the result of summation in synchronism with the preset calculation period, so as to generate a driving waveform. Each gradient data represents a local gradient of the driving waveform and is stored in a memory. In the process of generating the driving waveform, the technique of the present invention corrects the result of summation to a preset value under a predetermined condition. One preferable embodiment clears specific lower bits in the result of summation in synchronism with a floor signal. Another preferable embodiment forcibly corrects the result of summation to an upper limit value or a lower limit value of a preset range when the result of summation exceeds the preset range. Such correction effectively cancels the potential effects of cumulative error on the driving waveform.
