摘要： A braking device for an elevator winding machine generates a braking force by contacting a rotary body driven by a rotary shaft of the winding machine with a brake section supported through the intermediary of an elastic body. The elastic body has a nonlinear elastic characteristic so that a starting shock to the passengers in the elevator car is prevented and the braking torque detecting accuracy is improved.

Stations communicate with a vertical elevator passage or passages along which vehicles can move upward and downward, and the vehicles stop at the stations to allow passagers to get on and off. While passengers get on and off the vehicles at the stations, other vehicles carrying other passengers can move upward and downwardly along the elevator passage or passages.

摘要： This invention discloses a hoisting apparatus for use with an elevator system including a reduction gear assembly connected to a driving electric motor and a sheave. A main rope is reeved around the sheave and a car is suspended from the rope for vertical movement. The reduction gear assembly includes a pair of large and small gears. The small and large gears are connected respectively to the input and output shafts of the reduction gear assembly and the input and output shafts are disposed in face-to-face relationship. The electric motor are connected to the input shaft while the sheave and a brake system is connected to the output shaft. One bearing of the sheave is integral with a gearbox of the reduction gear assembly, and the large gear is supported in an overhanging manner by the shaft of the sheave. This arrangement enables silent and safe operation of elevator cars.

摘要： An electromagnetic disc brake for an elevator lifting apparatus comprises a disc spline-coupled with a rotational shaft. Braking body and an armature disposed to clamp the disc; braking springs press the armature against the disc, and an iron core is provided which includes inner and outer magnetic poles each facing the armature and concentrically formed with respect to the rotational shaft. An electromagnetic coil generates magnetic flux to pass through the inner and outer magnetic poles as magnetic paths. In addition, at least one of the pole face of the outer magnetic pole and the facing portion of the armature where it faces the pole face is provided with an arrangement for increasing a magnetic gap, and the braking springs are disposed in portions of the outer magnetic pole. Further, the braking body is supported through a sound absorbing member or one side of the armature facing the disc is formed of a sound absorbing member.

摘要： An elevator apparatus provided with a guiding device for guiding a passenger cage without vibration with respect to the guide rails. Sensors are provided so that a pressure applied to the guiding device from the guide rails is maintained constant, and an actuator is driven by an output of the sensor. The sensor may be a pressure sensor and, as the output of the sensor increases, the distance between the guide rail and the passenger cage is controlled in a manner so as to be decreased. The guiding device immediately follows the bend of the guide rail and an unbalanced load of the passenger cage so that transversal vibration of the passenger cage is considerably reduced.

摘要： An elevator apparatus includes guide devices having guide members engaged with a pair of guide rails so as to guide a car along the guide rails in a manner to hold the car in a proper position. Each of the guide devices includes a resilient support member having a small spring constant supporting the guide member in such a manner that the guide member is movable in a direction perpendicular to a plane of the guide rail. An axis of suspension of the car is deviated from a position of a center of gravity of the car so as to cause a guide load, acting on a side surface of the guide rail via the guide member in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the guide rail, to have a deflected load acting on the guide rail in one direction. The guide device further includes an anti-deflected load generating device for generating an anti-deflected load in a direction to reduce a deflected load component of the guide load produced by the above deviation. With this arrangement, a lateral vibration of the car, which would be caused by an inherent bending of the guide rail, or a bending of the guide rail due to an error in installation of the guide rail or aging, is prevented.
