    摘要: The invention relates to a pulsation controller in the intake/exhaust systems of internal combustion engines inclusive of two-cycle gasoline engines, four-cycle engines and rotary piston engines, and includes a device for detecting by means of a sensor pulsation in the intake/exhaust pipes connected to a cylinder, and a control means for allowing the desired pressure wave in the pulsation to coincide with the given position of the intake/exhaust system by the detection result obtained by this sensor. The phase of a standing wave in the intake/exhaust system of the engine is detected to control the impedance or the timing for opening and closing valves or ports in the intake/exhaust system and, hence, the phase of a standing wave in the intake/exhaust system, thereby improving the intake/exhaust efficiency for more efficient operation.

One of the ultrasonic transmitter-receivers generates ultrasonic waves toward an upstream of an air flow so that a radiation direction of the ultrasonic waves obliquely intersects a direction of the air flow. On the other hand, the other ultrasonic transmitter-receiver generates ultrasonic waves toward a downstream of the air flow in the same manner. A difference in phase between outputs of the receivers is detected to obtain a rate of the air flow.

    摘要: The reproduction of a copy inhibit image and the abuse of data through a network are to be prevented without sacrificing various page editing functions. An image read unit scans an original placed on an original carrying table and thereby generates RGB color image signals of multi-value. An image processing unit performs various image processing and, upon detection of a copy inhibit original, performs image working for preventing faithful reproduction of the copy inhibit original. An image storing unit temporarily stores page by page original images provided from the image processing unit. If a copy inhibit image is contained in the original images, the image working is performed by the image processing unit to prevent faithful reproduction and the images after the image working are stored in the image storing unit. An image output unit performs a printing operation in accordance with image data outputted from the image processing unit.

Data B, G, and R output from an image read unit are converted to data L*, a*, and b* respectively by first color signal conversion unit and further the data a* and b* are then converted to data H and C by third color signal conversion unit. Image data V, H and C are color edited by image edit block and the output thereof H and C are converted to a* and b* respectively by fourth color signal conversion unit. The outputs of the first color signal conversion unit are also input to delay unit, are delayed by a time equal to a processing time in image edit unit by the delay unit, and are then input to selector unit. The selector unit, in accordance with a switching control signal S.sub.cont output from the image edit block, outputs either of the color edited data L*, a* and b* that are output from the image edit unit or the data L*, a* and b* that are output from the delay unit.

    摘要: A image edit apparatus in which area data of 16-bit width have been stored at the memory locations of the corresponding addresses of the respective memory planes of a plane memory 403. The operation of reading area data therefrom by a pseudo sync signal starts before a line sync signal becomes active. A density-conversion/area generating circuit 405 converts the data format from the plane type to the pixel type, so that area commands are generated. Then, the circuit 405 reads an edit command out of a logic RAM, using the area command as address, and outputs the command. By reading the area data earlier and processing that data, a delay in the density-conversion/area generating circuit can be absorbed, so that the output edit command is synchronized with the image data.
